Is the Tier 6 Altar currently unimplemented in the 1.8.9 build? If that is the case, is there an ETA on its arrival?
Yes it is unimplemented, and read the forum rules concerning ETA's.

Edit: I hate double posting, so I'll write in this post.
I see there's been no activity on this thread or on the curseforge lately... I sure hope that means Way is putting together a big update. If he's busy IRL that's fine too, but I sure miss the demon summoning and invasion, not to mention T6 and the Omega. I respect that you're a person too, Way, but when you can please add those things back in. Out of all my favorite mods, this is the only one for 1.9, and I actually like the 1.9 mechanics... If you possibly can, add these things back in soon. Thanks!
I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.
Alright, I am officially stumped. How do I get the Binding Array set up?
Right click Binding Reagent into an Alchemy Array, which is placed by using arcane ash on the ground. Then right click your desired item onto the (now much larger) array circle, but be warned: there will be lightning.
---
Edit: Wow, either the coming update is super-huge, or there's been a catastrophe IRL in Way's area stopping him from working at all... I sure hope it's not that last one...

Nah, nothing like that. I had a lot of work I needed to do to prepare for a presentation yesterday, and I was busy documenting the new changes to the vanilla armour system for Forge - Forge's method for armour calculation is currently wrong, so that needs changing before I can balance the armour properly!

K, phew. Armor balance is definitely important for any mod. Especially with the 1.9 armor nerfs. Btw, the Sentient Sword item model is too big when dropped on the ground. Not a game breaking bug, but I thought I'd tell you anyway. Also, based on the section on Demon Will Aura in the OP, it's going to be replacing the reagent system, right? So, no more flying potions for a while... oh well. Have you thought about how to lay out the Convocation of the Damned ritual using the new Will Aura instead of belljars? I say make use of the Crucible upgrades you're planning to boost the aura over 100, then use that beefed-up aura to power the ritual in place of reagents. And make the required upgrades pricey, we don't want the Invasion to be easily accessible. Not only is it supposed to be endgame, but there are a such thing as "griefers", people who would like to summon an invasion in someone else's base... Not pretty. Anyway, good work as always.

anyone knows how i can level up my blood altar's tier? I can't find anything abaut that.
Mercy
For tier 2, place Blood Runes inset into the ground around the altar, so that the floor you're standing on when you're right next to it is runes. Tier 3 is a bit more complicated, requiring runes one block down and 2 out from the tier 2 runes, as well as some glowstone capped pillars... And it keeps getting more complex from there, my best recommendation would be to have pictures of the different altar tiers on hand. They're the same as in the 1.7.10 version, except that T6 is unobtainable atm, due to the temporary removal of the Demon Invasion. Also, kill wither skeletons whenever you possibly can, as T5 needs 4 beacon blocks.

i hope 1.9 gets a proper ingame documentary, the diary like book in Guide-API is too tedious to read through and find single rituals or other things.
I thought the story-driven documents were fun.

The story-driven books are going to remain, and of course be rewritten to include the new stuff. "Straight answers" will be for out-of-game docs, such as the forum page.

I actually thought the story in the old book was rather interesting. I especially liked how despite the nature of the mod, the main characters weren't such bad people. Hope the rewrite has the same sort of feel to it!

Yeah it will, at least I will try my best. Of course things will change, because basically the whole mod changed.

No problem, all I really wanted is for the story to be told from the perspective of the "good guys", as it were. Doesn't matter what changes about the story itself, I just don't want to be studying the works of a villain for my ingame docs.... The mod may have a dark theme, but I still like to picture myself as "using it for good".

Think of it like this; Magic is neither good nor evil inherently. It simply is. It is the will of the user and their intent that turns it in to something either good or evil. Even if you're studying what those who used it for evil did, you can turn it in to a force for the light.
Granted, I'm evil and could easily be leading you to the dark side; but are you willing to let power that could help you and your allies slip away because everyone you've heard of who used the power was evil.

How is the sanguine scientium created in 1.8.9? I've scoured the internet trying to figure it out.
NYI AFAIK.

I'm working on a modpack, & wanted to have this be one of the mods in it. However, I didn't see any clarification on what was allowed, thus before making any stupid assumptions, would you be opposed to letting me use this in my small, non-monetized modpack?

Now look, buddy. I'm an Engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like 'what is beauty', because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. Like, how am I going to stop some big, mean mother-hubbard from tearing me a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer: Use a gun. And if that don't work: Use more gun. Like this heavy-caliber, tripod-mounted little ol' number designed by me. Built by me. And you'd best hope, not pointed at you.
