well, I got another problem, and a suggestion: one, my blood altar is draining, though there isn't anything in it. I have over a stack of augmented capacity runes (hard-earned), and it is 20 LP per second, so I am not that worried, but if there's something I can fix, that would be great. also, the suggestion is that you use the character for "see" on the divination sigil (I think it's yen, first intonation)

thanks again, and thank you for your assistance.
Your problem is simple: The internal buffer is filling again. Remember that the altars buffer is always 10% of it's max capacity, so all those ruins you added are raising the buffer size. With a full stack your buffer is now.... 106,000 LP. At 20 LP a second.... 5,300 seconds, or 83.3 minutes. So it might take a while.
An active Reverence of the condor will give all players in its area of effect a potion effect called "Flight". Any player with this potion effect can fly like there in creative mode, so just doable tap your jump key.

A little piece of advice to the would-be meteor summoners: Don't do it near your altar. You WILL regret it. T_T
Also, if you place an obsidian platform about 10-20 blocks above the rune for summoning the meteor, it'll impact that and form the meteor there without damaging the platform or the rune. Dig out the meteor and repeat for easy-peasy free ores. :3
First of all... I love this mod... thank you for giving it to the world.
I am trying to use the Ritual of Gaia to modify my biome. However, I have tried over 30 times to make a Sky Biome (The End), with no luck. That is an awful lot of life points used for no return
Is it possible to get the Sky Biome with this ritual, and how?

I'm not sure this is possible, due to rivers, oceans, and the end biome sharing the same biome temperature and humidity(.5, .5).
In my search for your answer, I found this: http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/User:Orthotope/biomes . It should help anyone with using this ritual, but I think Way has it to where it finds the first match so if two biomes have the same values it might go for the first in the list.

It currently is a matter of first come first served as it stands right now. If people would rather, I could make it randomly select an appropriate one, however it may make it difficult if you were to try to create a vast area of river, or any other one since added biome mods would make it difficult.

Perhaps have a set of items you could sacrifice to set the order? Like, if you sacrifice an ender pearl it uses the second biome it finds, end stone the third, blood shard the fourth.... You get the idea. Would make creating biomes like sky possible.

Perhaps, however would be a PITA if a mod adds 10 such biomes.

True, but that is a worse case scenario. Most biome mods I know try to differ there biomes temperatures and humidity's. If there are more the say... five in with the same stats, then we might as we'll blame the biome mod in question. But my idea should at least make all vanilla biomes possible.

Alright, everyone in the IRC channel (For those of you unaware, we have one of those. #bloodmagic on EsperNet.com) have been pooling together ideas for the ritual of Gaia's transformation on how to address the small problem we've faced. He is what we've come up with.
I suggest having items that can be sacrificed with everything else to have the ritual "Skip" a certain number of matching biomes.
Fox suggests we change the ritual to be pot luck. It will randomly set the ritual area to a random matching biome.
Harbinger suggests activating the ritual with the same items causes it to "Cycle" through matching biomes.
Perhaps this may work: Before the ritual tries to scan for items to change the biome, it looks under the master ritual stone to read what block it sits on. If it is a diamond block, instead of using 1M LP and resetting the biome and then changing it, it will cycle forward to the next biome with the same temperature and humidity, using only 50K LP. If it finds an emerald block, it cycles back one biome in the list again using 50K LP. If it finds a lapis block, it becomes a random biome with the same T/H while using only 25K LP. Seems like the best option, but I'll leave that up to you.
As for the suggestion, I feel an in-game wiki would be very helpful for some of the more intricate facets of the mod. Whilst the NEI integration is stellar and the diviner makes life much easier with rituals, some other aspects of the mod aren't intuitive (such as what the rituals actually do in detail, how armour binding works and how to upgrade it, or how to summon various demons).
Perhaps a similar system to Tinkers Construct with a series of books that explains various aspects of the mod in detail? It could be created by infusing a book in the altar and can be infused progressively in each tier of altar to add more pages to the book.
Aside from that, this mod is excellent. Good work!
That, I believe, is planned, but a very low priority for now. Designing a book, programming it and actually writing everything takes a lot of time and effort, unfortunately.
I think I found a duplication bug while playing with the mod on agrarian skies : If you shift click to place an item in the alchemical chemistry set from the top-most left slot of your inventory, a copy of the item appears in the bottom-most right slot (if it is empty). I was able to replicate it multiple time, it didn't just happened once.

That is... an oddly specific bug. Thanks for letting me know, and I'll try to find a fix shortly. Best not to use it, since I think The Jaded One might not be too happy!

I have an bug with the blood magic mod in a local network.
When i create a well of suffering, and 2 block above, a ritual of regeneration, and after restarting the server (i'm not the host), the chunk hosting the master ritual stone seems to be corrupted, and recreated... So everytimes, i loose my rituals stones...
It's a little bit annoying. Is anyone has a solution ?
Thanks in advance !
sorry, it's not all the chunk, just the a cube (of around 7 block ?). I have my altar 15 block above, and it was not reinitialised
Well, that is very odd. What version of blood magic are you using, what were you sacrificing in the well, and does it happen in a test world?

That's not Quite true! I have been talking to them occasionally and MrVideogame and WayofDevingTime is working on some in game books! Unfortunately I cant really help as I'm not much of a writer
The lack of a recipe for red wool! Heh, yeah, that was my thought at first. "Why can't I make red wool with a bit of LP? It's hardly a stretch to infuse wool with blood and get red wool, right?"
Then my mind wandered to a line from TES V: Skyrim. Apparently the robes that the Mythic Dawn wore in TES IV: Oblivion were made with bolt of cloth dyed with blood from sacrifices... and that got me think again. Know what enchantments those robes had? Ones that increases mana regeneration.
So here's my NEW idea(that I may pitch around since there is a API for Blood Magic now, no idea how robust it is, though): Blood Soaked Wool. Can be cooked to result in plain red wool, or can be used to craft bolts of cloth with a blood alchemy set. Those bolts are needed to make both the basic magic system paradigm table, and assorted fancy decorations/robes that make your blood magic a bit cheaper.

I love this mod, but have you considered making it compatible with the blood from EvilCraft?
Well, life essence isn't compatible with "Blood" from any other mods for balance reasons. After all, some mods let you get a full bucket from just half a heart.

I have no idea what your talking about. No idea at all. You must have been thinking of something else, because something like this isn't being worked on at the moment.
