is there any way to get the inscribed ritual blocks in your inventory? I've tried silk touch breaking them, tried the give command, and it looked like it dropped it and it immediately disappeared. I'm trying to add them as a cover image in a Hardcore Quest Mode quest book, and i cant search for them or get them in my inventory :/
hi again. I think I fixed the previous problem, but I found another one. I tried to make the "sanguine helmet" out of my beloved goggles of revealing, and instead of binding, I got a crash. every time since then, when loading the world, it has crashed. I made a copy of the world, tried loading it without blood magic, and I lost all my stuff but it worked. however, all the stuff in my backpack didn't load, so I didn't lose it, as I put blood magic right back in. I will get a crash report on here ASAP. this kinda reminds me of that time in 0.7.3 when I tried to use a teleposer to get from the twilight forest to the overworld. in ended up making it so that if I placed a block, the block I placed it on would disappear. curious about that glitch still occuring.
great mod, by the way. I just have one more problem/question. is it possible to attach hoppers to the blood altar so that you only have to supply the blood? that would be great.
I should mention that I only post so many possible problems and issues BECAUSE this is a great mod. I want it to go to the next level.
and making blood runes is REALLY monotonous. push a villager from the nearby villager to your altar. make two blank slates. put yourself to half health. make another one.... etc.

is there any way to get my world back?
also, for the rest of the day I had serious lag on everything.
When they enter a new world, the soul network data is left behind in the old world leaving the blood mages powerless(Well, almost) so they must re-fill there networks.
At least, I think what I said is right. Hard to tell thoughts and memory's from the whispers in the dark....
Indeed. The server he's referring to is a Bungeecorded server (4-5+ servers) with shared inventory across them, but Blood doesn't transfer. You think it would be possible to make something resembling a storage medium for those type of scenarios? Blood Cell/Battery/in-a-Sac/ect
is there any way to get the inscribed ritual blocks in your inventory? I've tried silk touch breaking them, tried the give command, and it looked like it dropped it and it immediately disappeared. I'm trying to add them as a cover image in a Hardcore Quest Mode quest book, and i cant search for them or get them in my inventory :/
I can't think of any way to get them, so you'll need to find something else unfortunately.
First of all, this mod is amazing. Second, I have a slight problem with ritual Dome of suppression. What is the ritual stones configuration? 5x5, one layer of 4x3 ritual stones in the corner? Is the master ritual stone in the same layer as the other stones or below? And what must I use for activation? weak activation crystal or awakened one? And how many Lp do I need? Sorry I know it is a lot of questions but I just cant build my underwater base without this ritual... Tnx for the replies in advance.
To build it, try using the ritual diviner. It will make your life much easier. Weak crystal with 20,000 LP. But do remember the over time cost, and that it increases if you upgrade the ritual with a iron, gold, or diamond block.
This bug was fixed in the latest patch. Just download the hotfix update 1.0.1b to fix this. As for hoppers, you can. But you should note that it won't add just one item, but up to a full stack. It will need just as much blood and time as if you did them one by one.
As for your problem with villagers, you might want to make a mine-cart track from your village to your blood altar. The villagers hop in the cart when it goes by, then are moved all the way to your altar for you. Also make sure your making sacrifice runes(Don't cheap out on making blood altars) as each rune is worth an extra 200 LP when used on villagers. As for monotony, I find that making slats early on(Before T4 and automation) is best done while doing something else. Sorting chests, carving up the land, smelting items.... You could do a lot while making slates. If you want "LP fast! LP now!", I'd recommend hunting for a mob spawner then building a little waterflow trap to a sacrifice altar. Every spawn your going to get between 500- 2000 on a T1 altar.
Fun fact: Transmuting a reinforced slate without any speed runes takes ~30 seconds(It will take a little more, due to the delay between the first and second transmutation).

two things: one, isn't 1.0.1b for 1.7.2? two, how on earth can you automate it? tell me please?
So you have a recipe in your diviner? I have the latest version and it still doesn't shows up. So all on the same lvl ( that's 12 stones and one master? )
Are you using 1.6? Way hasn't ported the update that has this ritual to 1.7 yet. But yes, it is just the twelve and the master ritual stone.

I bow down before you, oh master!
No, 1.0.0b is for 1.7. 1.0.1b is for 1.6 minecraft.
Second, even in vanilla minecraft you can automate a blood altar. Simply have a hopper under the altar with whatever you want to create in each slot. Then have ether a well of suffering or a feathered knife to keep feeding the altar while the slates are made and a hopper to put in more stone as needed. It really is that simple.

It should, check the creative menu for "Sigil of the dome". If it's there, then you have the right version and this should be working. So is the ritual diviner jumping from ballad of alchemy to the ritual of full spring?

Edit: I read your numerous posts wrong, Mr. VideoGame, and assumed you were referring to the sigil of the dome as a ritual. I apologize for my presumptions. Sorry. I also deleted the offending message and replaced it with this.
Edit Edit: I apologize ONCE AGAIN for my stupidity and presumptions, upon learning that the dome of suppression, is, indeed, a ritual, as well as a sigil. I am very sorry.
Is the range for the dagger of sacrifice in 1.7.2 extremely low? I was killing zombies with the dagger directly under my level 2 altar and it wasn't going exceptionally well.
I have battlegear and the Zelda skills mod, might those cause problems?

They shouldn't be causing problems. If your within two blocks of the altar it should be working.

one last thing, as I have now killed all of my problems... whenever I sacrifice a villager, this weird symbol appears over its head. what is it, what does it do, and do I need to be worried?

Pretty sure that's a vanilla thing - when you hit villagers, their trades get worse.

another thing about villagers, does the 'well of suffering' work on them?
another slight issue, when I attached a hopper above my blood altar, it glitched out and put all 45 sigils into the altar at the same time, and when I tried to transmute them, it just drained blood and did nothing. any Idea how to do this?
edit: all forty-five STONE. I didn't have them as sigils (yet)

This is intentional, a hopper can put multiple items of the same type into an altar, making mass-creation and automation easier. However, it takes just as much blood and time as transmuting each item individually, which is why your altar drained itself rather than create a single item.

you mean to say that it was taking the time and blood it would take to transmute each one, but instead of doing it one at a time... oh I see now... it would have transmuted all at once, after taking 45k LP.
I could still use an answer for the well of suffering, because it would be great if it worked.

The well of suffering should work on villagers, but you must remember that you get no bonuses for villagers in the well like you do when sacrificed manually.

is there any way to get my world back?
also, for the rest of the day I had serious lag on everything.
I can use MC edit, maybe that'll help?
Indeed. The server he's referring to is a Bungeecorded server (4-5+ servers) with shared inventory across them, but Blood doesn't transfer. You think it would be possible to make something resembling a storage medium for those type of scenarios? Blood Cell/Battery/in-a-Sac/ect

Make sure you have the latest version(1.0.1b), and it is just as it is in the picture. All on the same level, and only the blocks you can see.

two things: one, isn't 1.0.1b for 1.7.2? two, how on earth can you automate it? tell me please?
I bow down before you, oh master!
No, 1.0.0b is for 1.7. 1.0.1b is for 1.6 minecraft.
Second, even in vanilla minecraft you can automate a blood altar. Simply have a hopper under the altar with whatever you want to create in each slot. Then have ether a well of suffering or a feathered knife to keep feeding the altar while the slates are made and a hopper to put in more stone as needed. It really is that simple.

Edit Edit: I apologize ONCE AGAIN for my stupidity and presumptions, upon learning that the dome of suppression, is, indeed, a ritual, as well as a sigil. I am very sorry.
I have battlegear and the Zelda skills mod, might those cause problems?

Pretty sure that's a vanilla thing - when you hit villagers, their trades get worse.
Profile pic by Cheshirette c:
another thing about villagers, does the 'well of suffering' work on them?
another slight issue, when I attached a hopper above my blood altar, it glitched out and put all 45 sigils into the altar at the same time, and when I tried to transmute them, it just drained blood and did nothing. any Idea how to do this?
edit: all forty-five STONE.
