Hey AWayofTime. I've alway loved Blood Magic and it has helped me get better at coding creating Addons for it. I created another one that I think you might particularly like. Basically an in-game wiki that presents itself as an encyclopedia created by Blood Mages to document the changes in the world. Since so much has changed from the update from 1.7.10 to 1.9, I've dubbed it the "Lost Period" and go on from there. My hope is to, along with adding an easily accessible wealth of knowledge, add a basis for adding a story into the game. Regrettably, it doesn't offer very much story yet and still in the works of documenting everything, but I just wanted to let you know (and whoever else may be reading this). I am playing on 1.10.2 to start with and I am trying to plan my area out to start Blood magic. What is the dimensions of the final tiered alter? Is it like 25x25 blocks? I just want to make sure to plan this out perfectly.
I don't think the tier 6 altar is currently constructable outside of creative, but if you want to leave room for it, it's 23x23, extending five blocks below the altar, and three above it. The tier 5 altar is 15 x 15, extending 4 blocks below the altar and 2 blocks above. Also, there's an item called the Inspectoris Scandalum, crafted by putting a book into a tier 1 altar with 1000 lp. No texture for the item, but you can right click it to set an altar level, and then shift-right-click on an altar to create a visualization of that altar tier (and get a message about the next missing block for the next tier altar), which is great.
Now, a question of my own. Is it possible in MC1.10.2 to give the ritual of the crusher fortune or silk touch? Also, I'm seeing several ritual names that I don't recognize. Is there anywhere that there's a list of new rituals with at least a basic description of what they do?

The majority of the new rituals have been covered in Way's developer diaries. As for ritual augmentations (Silk Touch, Fortune, etc), I believe that is implemented, but I'm not sure Way has covered it, yet.
I noticed there are config options for potions, and I remember in one of the dev commentaries Way said potions would be coming back... And yet, no potions in JEI. I'm guessing this feature is NYI but planned for soon, would I be correct with that guess?

Certain potion effects are implemented (such as boost and such) but potions as in the drinkable ones are not as of now.
Too bad, I miss potion alchemy from the old blood magic. (I also miss the endgame, like the summoning and the invasion, but nothing I say will make Way focus on that anytime soon, so I won't beg.)

If I'm correct in remembering, I don't think a chunk loading ritual will be implemented due to some reason that I forgot. Nevertheless, you should try and see if you can use FTB Utils' chunkloading system instead
I would just like to put it out there that if you need help with the Guide API/writing, i would be glad, since nothing makes me angrier than when a mod creator puts all this work in and is like "finally, done" but doesn't leave any instructions. It alienates a lot of people, especially since the main page hasn't been updated to even include the incense instructions, nothing about 1.10 or the saguine scientiem. (of course those last two may be because of alpha)
I'm not saying "hey do this", just that if you need help with the writing I've got some time.
(of course it may be a coding issue or that GuideAPI isn't updated enough so I may look like an ass)

I've got a lot of questions personally but their a bit technical and "figure it out" questions regarding rituals. But, one thing i was wondering, is there anything better than the coat of arms currently (1.10)? Its great, 10k into one set but i wish i could combine them or make a deluxe version that held 100k or 1 mil.

Does satiated ritual still do 33x33x33?
Can teleposition move my tier 5 blood altar without causing any issues?
Does satiated work with obsidian chest from iron chest mod?

I've played the new Blood Magic three times now, (in 1.8.9 and 1.10) and the first two it was a breeze getting started. This time, it was extremely difficult. The primary issue was that I could not get a Demonic Will over 1.0, so I could get my first Tartaric Gem. For reference, I played about 9 hours over 3 days before I was able get my first >1.0 Demonic Will. Part of the trouble was my fault, because I kept hunting for Spiders to get string for Snares, instead of converting Wool. (I have no way of estimating how many snares I used.) At any rate, assuming I had horrible luck...
Is there a way to combine Demonic Wills before your first Tartaric Gem? That would have sped things up significantly for me.
Ah, purely a opinion based question but i have recently enchanted my bound blade with looting 3. but do i go with sentient sword or bound blade? I really can't decide which one to to fully enchant. one requires me to always have a slot full and the other constantly drops weak blood shards, which i have plenty of to decorate with at this point.
will there be any reason to have 50+ stacks of weak blood shards in the future?
Will the sentient sword get stronger past 9 attack, currently capping at around common gem?
Side note: I'm playing with food that gives buffs like speed and etc, what will happen if i put these into the ritual of filled stomach?
second side note: i noticed the movement array and thought it a pretty cool idea "have the alchemy array do things besides turn into items" used it to make stairs. Had way gone over more of these in a video? Are there more currently and what others are planned? (cough cough, private dimension sounds cool).
It works in 1.7. Keep in mind, however, that Blood Magic differs quite a bit from Blood Magic 2. Not Enough Items and Guide-API are recommended.

Is there a ritual that chunkloads? I would love to be able to set up a quarry somewhere other than in spawn chunks/over my base

There is not. Try getting Will from zombies instead, as the Will quality rises with the mob's maximum HP.

Bound Blade. It's unbreakable, isn't it? The Sentient Sword isn't, requiring constant re-enchanting.
