First one, that is odd. Will need to experiment with that.
Second one, that will have to do for now because I will need to figure out how to fix it in full, otherwise it could be problematic.
And that testing recipe... UGH!
Good to know. Thought it was odd that it said it was fix, and I wasn't going anywhere. I will need to test to see if non-player entities can still be moved correctly. I still want to unleash the ender dragons unholy on the overworld... Also, could I get some feed back on how viable a teleposer blacklist would be?
As for the minecart, I had a few ideas with that: Have a cart spinning on a 5x5 circle of powered rails. There would be a teleposer powered by an AND gate, one signal coming from a detector rail on the loop, the other from a leaver. You pull the leaver, the cart runs over the detector rail, and the cart gets teleposer in a different track where your waiting for your full speed minecart.
My second idea was for an item moving system, using chests feeding other chests by way of hoppers, then having a hopper cart come in and drain the bottom chest. After a few seconds the cart would be sent off by way of powered rails and a redstone timer. Detecter rail actavats the teleposer and sends it back to your base where it dumps of the contents into a chest system before going back for more.
My final idea was for a roller-coaster that builds itself as you ride. Detector rails trigger teleposers that spawn in the tracks as you ride, and possibly remove them from behind you.
As a footnote, I agree with sero321. This has become on of my favorite mods. If it wasn't apparent by the crazy ideas I've been coming up with, this mod is a lot of fun to mess around with. I've been having moments in my day where I will cackle like a madman after thinking of a new build, then rushing to my laptop to try it. Can I move the end portal to my rooftop garden (Yes I can.)? Can I come up with a vanilla blood alchemy machine? Can I telepose the ender dragon(yes)? Can I make a bedrock bunker(yes)? It has brought a smile to my face every time I make a new build, just waiting to see how well I can get it to work. Few mods have do that Way, few GAMES have done that. You should be proud of what you have made here.
Edit: Here is an idea of how much I like this mod. Almost all 133 of my posts on this site were here, in the blood magic section. I have maybe two or three that aren't here. That is how much i enjoy this mod and this communality.
I'm a little confused on the pedestal positions for the demon summoning. Does anyone have any pictures I can see for reference?
I'm right there with you. I followed the positions listen on the first page but can't get anything beyond the first ring to work. I'd love to see some pictures of the positions, even better... a tutorial.

Alright, I've got Blood magic teleposers, Chicken bones wireless redstone and ender chests, MFR rednet, TT trans-vector dislocaters. and a working knowledge of redstone.
Time to build a miracle....
Note Way, trans-vector dislocaters have one major advantage over your teleposers: You can move blocks from any side of the dislocater, not just the top.

This post is probably going to be closer to a novel then anything, but considering I am writing this while it's still in my head it's going to be difficult to determine how big it actually is going to be.
I must say, to start off, "Thank you." Thanks for being such good fans of my work, and thanks for giving suggestions and feedback on various devices already in the mod. I'm not a perfect mod maker by any accounts, and know that I do make quite a bit of mistakes - those mistakes, although only once sending someone to Limbo, are quite interesting in their own way and sometimes spawns new ideas out of the void. Other such things sometimes make me want to simply close the computer and walk away from it all.
But when I finally get something to work... When I started out modding originally, I was a simple Youtuber doing various FTB and Resonant Rise modpack videos. They weren't the best, either, but I digress. When I started, I didn't start out thinking that I'd make a mod that would "change the world," or a mod that would make people ooh and ahh. I started thinking that the mod wouldn't ever see the light of day, since it was going to be just something that I can mess around with, and what did it matter if other people liked it? As long as I loved the mod, nothing could change.
As it progressed, starting with a few small concepts and utilitarian items, the mod started to evolve. I wanted the mod to simply be something that would take a player's health (the final, in my opinion, of any sort of balancing factor) and then use it to power your items. Risk, and reward. If there is no risk, there would not be a reward - that was the opening premise (heck, the main class file is "Alchemical Wizardry"), and I'd hope that would remain true. It probably has, with greater and greater costs, but with that came the concept of calling it "Blood Magic."
Calling a tortoise a tortoise did have some undesirable consequences. The "big" modpack, FTB, doesn't exactly want to get near the mod/associate it due to the demographic that the pack is geared towards. Certain spotlighters won't touch it, due to their thinking that it would cause kids to get the wrong ideas. Other opportunities, ones that I cannot and will not discuss, also were tightly closed off. Though there is one odd thing that happened, or rather did not happen, through all of this: I did not want to stop the mod.
Why? Because it was no longer whether I liked the mod or not, but whether you, the users, the main fanbase that has stuck with me through over 45 pages of comments and ideas and ingenuity. It's because of YOU that I even mod. And don't get me wrong, you guys are not forcing me at all into doing this. But my motivation has been to give the users (that's you, if you haven't noticed yet) the best dang experience that I can possibly give them.
Bugs? You don't call the mod broken. Some issue in balance? You find ways to mitigate it. Stringent rules that I set in stone? You find as many dang ways to break them as possible.
Although there are pros and cons to each and every device, item, etc that I make (which is going to stay as is!), the fact that you even think the phrase, "I think something from Blood Magic can solve this," is more than enough encouragement for me.
Stay strong, stay passionate, keep me modest, and I think we will be able to create many, many adventures between all of us. Thank you very much, and have a wonderful day!

Life sometimes hits people hard ... sometimes you do better getting back up again than not getting hit at all. -WayofTime
I think it would be cool to have a default blood based attack. Maybe give the blood orbs the ability to use the raw life essence inside it to fire a magical blast of some kind. Based on the charge time, amount of blood used, and level of blood orb the damage the magical blast would do would vary.
Also what about maybe a way to vamp life from other creatures. This mod could add vampirism; have a life stealing weapon of some kind. Maybe add a upgrade to the "Dagger of Sacrifice" like the "Sword of the Vampire" (...IDK) that would take blood from them and give you health back.
If anything, I feel like I should thank you. You have no idea how much fun I've had with this mod, the times I've thought of some thing crazy and tried to build it because why not. This community here might not be as big as ars magica or thaumcraft, but I'm happy i can be a part of it. My ideas aren't mocked at here, no one says "You can't do that." or "Why would you want to?". People might laugh and say "That's neat, i never thought of trying that." or "Cool, might have to make that myself.". Always remember Way, you've build a community here, small as it may be with only half a dozen regulars like harbinger of crazy or Xvplaer, but it is a community none the less, and i am proud to be a part of it.
I will continue to use your mod, to try and work it into as many builds as I can, and to break and abuse every feature you add. I will be know as the man who found limbo, the guy who used teleposers to jump mutiverses, the one who unleashed the ender dragons unholy wrath on the overworld, and as Mrvideogame: The guy with the silly ideas. So thank you Way, for everything.
P.S. I went to limbo more then once. Had to test it, so it was more like a half dozen times.
Now, time to start writing my next idea. You should see it in a minute.

Thank YOU for making this mod! I'm really glad you took the time to make a mod that I have enjoyed so much and stuck to it in spite of people trying to condemn it.
Honestly, I don't find the mod gruesome at all. Not to name any names or anything, but I think gruesome is more like taking a pair of Force Shears and excising the flesh out of a still-living pig and then eating it.
Greeting sports fans! Today we are going to be talking about the new mini-game on the block, The blood mage's battle arena!
But, more after a short break.
And were back! What we're we talking about again? Right! The Blood mage's battle arena is, well, a battle arena. The playing field is divided into four areas (Red, blue, yellow, and green), separated by a reinforced glass wall. Player can move between sections by use of teleposers, but be warn as they move everyone in a 5x5 area. Activating the teleposers in simple, hit the red button while standing in range of the red teleposer pad and you get moved to the red area. But be careful, as the teleposers are connected to wooden buttons, and can be activated by an opponent shooting the button, and after activating the area is locked down for five seconds so no one can telepose in. This arena works for free for all, re-spawn, and teams!
This game is powered by blood magic: Using the magic that flows through your vains.

Shift right click, but make sure you hold shift down hard when you deactivate them. Right clicking with an active tool will use beast mode, which mines every block in an area around you. Axe clears wood and leafs, pick mines stone and ores, ext... This can be very devastating if you use it in the wrong place(Like your home).

Way, I thought of a way around your input/output buffer that only uses blood magic. Instead of moving the blood, move the alter. Or should i say, telepose the alter.
I recently started a new world where i have only blood magic as a main content mod, and a few secondary mods.
Code chicken core
NEI
Chicken bone's wireless redstone
ender chests
translocaters
treecapatator
better storage
barrel mod
It is deliberately short, with a focus on making me think of creative ways to use blood magic (Like moving alters instead of blood) and so i could work on my redstoning skills. I also might have started this because i crash every few minutes on my old pack, but this is a good excuse for doing blood magic again:The Hard Way.

This thing? it can move a 3x3x3 cube of stained clay from one of the two towers on the right to the other. This picture was taken half way in the transfer. It basically works on the concept of replacing each layer with teleposers so you can move the layer above it. Remember, the focus remembers the coordinates of the location, no the teleposer itself. To move it from the transfer site a the other tower, you need to change the teleposer focuses. Here is what it looks like after I activate it again. http://imgur.com/6voc8bk
Now, moving a three by three cube isn't that impressive. But this scales up. Way up. This is at a 1:1 scale. We can do a 1:3 ,1:5, or even a 1:7! Just have the teleposers in a grid, and you can move anything like this!
And this is is built with only vanilla redstone and blood magic, with other mod items like wireless redstone, rednet, ways to move items, you can make amazing things!

For some reason,I can't upgrade the Alter past the second tier. Does anyone know why it stays at the second level? I followed the picard Guideline for it.
As in, hold shift and mouse-over it? Hmm... I must be using an older version, then. Hopefully MultiMC will let me switch over to the newest one.
