You know what could be nice? Having an Alchemy Table (or Blood Altar) Ender Pearl recipe.
Maybe using a Diamond and an Obsidian (both ingredients of the Transpostion Reagent) in an Tier 2 Alchemy Table costing 1000 LP and 100 ticks generating 1-3 Ender Pearls in the proccess.
Or even throwng an Emerald at a Tier 2 Blood Altar for 2000 LP to produce 1 Ender Pearl.
So I've been stuck trying to use the Alchemy Table for a bit, I'm not sure what I'm missing. Here's my setup. (I'm also not sure what goes in the red box)
Not to nag or anything, but when do you think we can expect an update? The last file release was back in June. I don't mind if a release isn't stable so long as there's new content and/or mechanics. If something isn't working, we can always go back to the previous version while you iron out the bugs. It just feels like there's not a whole lot to do in the mod anymore.
Hey, I don't have any problems or glitches to report with the mod, I just wanted to say that I absolutely love it. You have done great work with Blood Magic and I hope to see that work continued. I also look forward to seeing how the different demon will system will work out. After working a fair bit on the current will types, how many more do you plan to add? One final and extremely powerful one perhaps to bring the total up to 6?
Hey I haven't played in a very long time and I have a few quick questions. Is this the original blood magic or is it a separate continuation? Is it different from this? If they are different, is it worth playing with both of them or only one? Is this a "WIP" mod ripe to play? If someone could give me a clue that would be great thanks

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
Way my man! Im lovin this mod! Demon pets, elemental bosses, a demon invasion omg im still mastering it all! I have an issue that recently came up tho, when i put the earth omega armor on from creative like an idiot cuz i didnt know what i was doing i got heavy heart and it stuck... can you help?

Is it just me, or is the Rudimentary Snare not working too well? I'm trying to start up BM in my new game, after a long absence. I've gone through two or three recipes of snares, without ensnaring a single mob. These are hostile mobs, and I don't remember this being so much of a longshot.
ETA: Made 4 more batches (that is, 16 snares), and got my Will, with 3 snares left. Seems it's just less chance of effect than there used to be.

Nope, still going strong. Not every dev, or fanbase, hangs out on these forums. There's 26 pages of comments on Curseforge, and their github is quite active. I don't even know what's going on at FTB, aside from wikistuff.

IWould there be a way to have slots specifically for the orbs and sigils that add buffs, in the player inventory, to conserve space, and/or have it made in a way that is not incompatible with Aether II or any other mods directly changing the player's inventory?
Well, personally I use Enderlink Chests (Multistorage, but Chickenbones has some too) and EvilCraft's Exalted Crafter to get most of the tools out of main inventory. That plus a couple or three Sigils of Holding keeps my inventory under control.
But an alternative to all-new slots would be to add some Baubles, perhaps swiping some ideas from the apparently-defunct Blood Baubles mod. (The Seer's Pendant seems like a gimmie). That would let you use a few extra items, but they would also be competing for the slots with other mods.
For example, EvilCraft combines really well with BM (it even offers an item that lets you transfer between EC-blood in your Infuser and LP from your BM Soul Network), but it offers a pendant and a ring that are very powerful; you'd get to choose between bad-status protection and whatever the BM amulet offers, or between the second BM ring and EC's Effortless Ring that gives massive speed and jump boosts. (Frankly, I keep expecting EC to nerf that ring, at least by making it require EC-blood.) And of course if you're running Thaumcraft or another Bauble-heavy mod, things get even tougher.

So, am I right in thinking that the only way to create typed Will is by growing a typed crystal on Raw Will? Because you can put typed will into the aura, but IIUC the crystals are created at even exchange or a loss, costing at least as much will as they yield.
ETA: Ah, the method has changed. This Ritual of the Faceted Crystal looks a lot more reliable.
Pity I'd already made 5 crystallizers before I figured out that the old way doesn't work anymore.

I'm currently playing "Revenge of the C-team" modpack...Against my better judgement i've started to dabble around with Blood Magic.
Only one word really does it justice "Awesome", really good work mate Though i'm a little tired of killing villagers
Anyway, trying to construct Well of suffering, but all descriptions on the net has a ritual stone with "dusk".....
Is that the "darkness" stone now?

Dusk is the first upgrade stone, I can imagine it used to be darkness. Note that while it is possible to combine containment, Regeneration and Suffering, it's remarkably cranky, in part because the MRS takes power from any powered block nearby including another MRS. (You should be able to power it from a block without hitting the adjacent MRS). Tips in spoilers:
You can combine Containment, Suffering, and Regeneration on one altar, but they will need to penetrate into the spacer rings. The Containment MRS can go 2 blocks below the altar (that is, below the tier 2 runes), and penetrate into the corners of the spacer ring. I put a switch on the bottom of that, then the Suffering MRS below that, then the Regeneration MRS below that. (Putting the Regeneration on top of Suffering won't work, the layouts will interfere.) That way, the Suffering penetrates the middle blocks of the second spacer ring. I think you could stack all three together, but then Suffering would protrude a block above the spacer ring, and have fun controlling them individually.
And you need to control Suffering separately, because the "recent" vanilla nerf to Regeneration means that Suffering is over twice as powerful (24 ticks versus 50 ticks), so if it's continuous Regeneration will just slow things down. What I did was to add a somewhat-complex redstone build to run Suffering on a 1/4 cycle, so the mobs have time to recover. Once you do that, you can just load the containment with chickens and watch the LP flow in. It will help to have item-router nodes feeding items to and from a nearby chest. That's finicky too, but I'll let you sort that out yourself. ;-)

Unfortunately, the new method still means typed will can only be generated initially by splitting raw will. and the manual suggests that the gain from crystal-growing is pretty minimal.

I'm hoping someone can help me here. I'm playing the Enigmatica 2 Expert pack with Blood Magic. The JEI tells me that I need to perform the Gathering of the Forsaken Souls ritual for Demon Will Crystals, but I don't see that ritual in the Blood Magic book. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hmm. Is the Tier 6 altar actually available? Both the build and the orb seem to be gated behind "crystal cluster" blocks, not the same as crystal clusters, but those seem to have no recipe.

Apparently not, because one of the latest commits on Github said "fixed t6 altar questions" and commented out all related code.

I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.

I cannot select well of suffering in the Dusk diviner. It doesn't show up as a ritual. Did something change in 1.10? I'm playing Nuts and Bolts.

I have had problems with 1.12.2 and it looks like other people have no problem with it. I am super confused halp
