I noticed. I really miss the Invasion and the Omega Armor, though. I really was looking forwards to being able to fight bosses balanced around Omega... then that system was removed for the 1.8.9/1.9 update. Here's hoping that when you're done updating the forum post, you'll go back to coding the 1.9 version of these things. No pressure though, I'd hate to see a rushed and incomplete version make it into a release. Take all the time you need.
It's not that it was removed, it's just that BM for the 1.8.9 update was COMPLETELY recoded from the ground up. It'll be added again eventually, but it will take a bit of time.

Ok, but another thing. 1.9 version bug report...
Rudimentary snares are broken, when thrown they fall straight down, making it exceedingly difficult to hit anything unless you're flying...

I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.
By "fixed", you mean "fixed for next release", I assume... Ah well, good to hear that Way knows about it at least.

Was using v2.0.0-17 1.8.9 and installed v2.0.0-20 and now JEI won't show recipes for anything in the mod.
Edit: after using my eyeballs better like an actually competent person, I see that JEI supports the Blood Magic items, but won't show any Alchemy Array or Hellfire Forge recipes at all.
I'm sure this is mentioned in a previous post but the search function didn't return anything so I'm stumped.
Are you using a new version of JEI? I think JEI changed between those versions.

No offense Way, but I am at the point in my Blood Magic 1.9 world where I need to use the snares. I'm going to see if I can find a way to work around the issue with the falling snares, but I really would appreciate a fix soon.
Edit: For those interested, I dug a 3x2, 3-deep pit and "covered" it with open trapdoors like you do in a mob farm. I then lured a zombie into the pit, used the "sneak" function to position myself directly over the zombie by teetering on the edge of the pit, and dropped snares onto him until the particles showed up. I then killed the zombie, netting me my first Will. I will need to make more snares and repeat the process until I have a sentient sword, at which point it will be trivial to gather more will for the rest of the mod.

Did upgrade behavior change on the Living Chestplate? Before the -27 update I would get a haste upgrade within ~15 minutes of running around and a dwarven might upgrade after a similar amount of time spent digging. After updating to the -27 version I have been running around and digging for about 3 total hours and have yet to receive an upgrade. RNG, intended, bug?

Correct, code complete + still open = next release. Doesn't make it any less fixed.

Check CurseForge more often... That update was released yesterday.

THIS happened.
I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.
Update JEI

Did upgrade behavior change on the Living Chestplate? Before the -27 update I would get a haste upgrade within ~15 minutes of running around and a dwarven might upgrade after a similar amount of time spent digging. After updating to the -27 version I have been running around and digging for about 3 total hours and have yet to receive an upgrade. RNG, intended, bug?
Is this on a fresh chestplate or an old one? It's possible you may have run out of upgrade points and need to use the ritual to get more.
Picture of the chest plate?

It is a fresh chestplate. 0/100 Upgrade points.
Ahha. Living Armour will only upgrade itself when you have a FULL set on. It also only applies its upgrades when you have a full set.
