Hmm... I'm having trouble making a Magician's Blood Orb. I've got a Gold Block in a T2 Blood Altar, but nothing's happening... Do I need T3?
To make the next orb, you must always upgrade your altar. I highly recommend going the extra mile for the upgrade runes instead of normal blood runes.
Since a Magician's blood orb is a T3 orb, you need at least a T3 altar. Also, remember that it needs 40,000 LP to craft, and then altar can only hold 10,000 at the stage your at(It can be upgraded later). Make sure your well prepared for the craft, and don't just zerg the creation(Dieing over and over again ruins the point of the challenge). If you need any ideas, we can help.
Thank you! Yeah, I've done a leeetle bit of zerging, but I'm pretty well prepared for the Blood Orb crafting, and I'm going to not zerg it if I possibly can
I'm trying to get into the demon summoning, but I can't craft the arcane plinth. I'm still on the 1.6.4 version. I'm using 6 quartz blocks like in the picture in the first post. Has this changed?

Those aren't quarts blocks, they're IRON blocks. Opening a rip in space then dragging demons out of said rip isn't cheap.....

Question not the mad-mans ways, for you may begin to see logic in his actions, then find yourself mad as well.
You may call me The Madman, as there is no name that suits me better.

Just out of curiosity, what do the void sigil do when you put it in bound armor?
Well, with bound armor adding a sigil will normaly do one of two things: Give you a passive potion effect(Like boost, haste, fire resistance) or makes the armor "Soak" a certain type of damage(Fall, drowning, fire). There are a few rare exeptions, but the void sigil isn't one of them. So, think of what it might soak while I continue falling in the place below bedrock forever.

if it soaked void damage, that seems... Rather useless as a whole. Unless you decide to jump into the void for fun

Unless, of course, blood magic adds a demon that deals void damage. Or some other mod adds something that deals void damage to get around armor... So I would hesitate to call it useless.

How about the Ender Dragon? That thing can most certainly land you in the Void if you are careless, even more so if you play with Hardcore Ender Expansion. Take a few flight potions to be safe if you wind up falling. Extra Utilities' Deep Dark dimension has holes into the Void, and MystCraft has a dimension type for it. Skyblock survival is yet another reason to use it. Trust me, Void immunity is great late-game.

Hey! I'm trying to summon demons, but with no success. I believe I've got my pedestals set up correctly, and I'm fairly sure I have an accurate recipe. I'm trying to use Cobblestone|Cobblestone|Terrae|Tennebrae|Iron ingot|Gold nugget, and my Master's Blood Orb in the center, but nothing is happening. I'm probably erring somewhere, I'm just not sure where. Thanks!

Can we get a picture of your setup? I could ask you a dozen questions, but the picture is faster.

Yeah, you need a T3. All orbs are crafted by their respective tiers.

Hah! I didn't even consider that. Thanks for the info!
Well, ask a few questions! We should be able to answer anything you want to know in regards to blood magic.

Not as of yet. Currently 1.7 is very buggy anyways, so I'll get to that version when I can after school work.
