I'm afraid you will have to wait until a new update [for what I see]. Nonetheless, if any crash persists, you can delete following one of these instructions:
For the last few weeks, iLexiconn has been updating his mod Llibrary. Now, for some strange reason it kind of conflicts with Gases Framework [with their latest version]
Now, with last "Stable" version [from my perspective, of iLexiconn's mod], there are bugs with the gases. They seem normal from the outside, but when I try to go inside them, they turn invisible. I don't know what is happening.
Hi, I have this mod in a modpack of mine and most gases I've seen so far don't seem to have a problem spawning except for bedrock gas, I have flat bedrock enabled in cofh config. Can it have something to do with the flat bedrock or is there another problem?
Steam will automatically dissipate (quite quickly). However, if you don't want it in the first place, you should be able to disable it in the config.

So long as the bedrock is regular, vanilla bedrock, there should be no issue. Can you verify that for me?
Also could arise if you have the bedrock well lit.

I'm sorry the mod has been crashing for you. If you could produce a modlist and steps to reproduce these errors, I should be able to help you more. Thank you for posting the
3. Also I find out Glen's lantern works with vanila torches only. :c Can I hope you'll fix it?
1) Taking a look. I suspect it's more to do with Realistic torches than GG/GF.
2) You do have to generate to get gases. However, in the config, there is an option to enable retrogen, where the gases will spawn in your current world.
3) Possibly! Any specific mods you would like compatibility with?
theres a mod thats like this, emashers gas craft. you can search for it, but heres a link: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1286850-engineers-toolbox-now-with-programmable-sockets scroll down a bit. maybe some compatability? also, how do the gasses operate? are they like in gascraft, where when placed in world they dissipate like gasses but act like liquids and flow through liquid pipes and are considered liquids by most mods, and can be stored and used like liquids.
1) There are several mods in which gases exist. However, due to mostly ideological reasons (too easy to move, they work like Forge liquids), we haven't pursued compatibility with most of them. I suspect we may or may not relent on that soon, though.
2) The gases become a 'compressed' version when you pipe them, and can be stored. After released, they become a BlockGas which do whatever they want depending on density (float up, fall down, stay in midair). You can look at this video () to see what the flow mechanics look like.

We should be releasing relatively soon. Until then, you can use my personal latest builds here. That should help you with a few things, as well as serve as a preview build for the next release.

The bedrock has ID:7, lightlevel: 7-0 (mostly 0) and according to waila and nei it's from minecraft itself. The only thing that I can think of that's changing the bedrock is rotarycraft, but this only change the bedrock if you're drilling it.

Last thing I can think of is that the bedrock is above the config's minimum height restriction (by default: under 64). Is this the case?
i like using this mod in tandem with Enviromine. they seem to work together just fine but some cross mod features would be really cool! for those that aren't aware, Enviromine adds, among many other things, realistic torches that burn out over time, rain puts them out, and can be relit. and also an air quality system.
i'm getting a crash upon world gen that i suspect is related to a conflict between Glenn's gases and Realistic Terrain Generation. i need to do a little more testing to be certain GG is involved somehow, i'll report back.
woo hoo, glad to hear there might be a release for 1.8.9 soonish, i LOVE glenn's gases and even though one of my friends still think it's a "trolling mod" (because he didn't until recently understand that placing torches underground is too safe normally, he's learning though) in some ways, it just seems a bit boring digging around without the gases mod around, also excited for the possibility of more mod interaction and whatever that cryptic thing might be.
also, power generation using gases? yes please, don't spoil us too hard though
[edit] meant to mention this before but curseforge even if an alternate download site would be much appreciated, i really like the curse client for being able to check mod updates simply and easily [/edit]

i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.

after some more testing and following a suggestion by someone involved with the RTG mod, i can confirm that Glenn's gases WAS NOT involved in the crashes i was experiencing.

@Metromones would you please try the latest version here? This is a development build but it should work for you, and may help you.
I do my work at Bitbucket, supporting Glenn's Gases when I'm not on Steam. You can email me at "[email protected]"
Is this the case?

nope, it's set to 64 in config and the bedrock is at layer 5 (flat)
this is cool
i like using this mod in tandem with Enviromine. they seem to work together just fine but some cross mod features would be really cool! for those that aren't aware, Enviromine adds, among many other things, realistic torches that burn out over time, rain puts them out, and can be relit. and also an air quality system.
i'm getting a crash upon world gen that i suspect is related to a conflict between Glenn's gases and Realistic Terrain Generation. i need to do a little more testing to be certain GG is involved somehow, i'll report back.
woo hoo, glad to hear there might be a release for 1.8.9 soonish, i LOVE glenn's gases and even though one of my friends still think it's a "trolling mod" (because he didn't until recently understand that placing torches underground is too safe normally, he's learning though) in some ways, it just seems a bit boring digging around without the gases mod around, also excited for the possibility of more mod interaction and whatever that cryptic thing might be.
also, power generation using gases? yes please, don't spoil us too hard though
[edit] meant to mention this before but curseforge even if an alternate download site would be much appreciated, i really like the curse client for being able to check mod updates simply and easily [/edit]
24 hours gone again, wasted in futility, welcome to minecraft modding, that is (unfortunately) our community.
(an ode to minecraft modding)
i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
after some more testing and following a suggestion by someone involved with the RTG mod, i can confirm that Glenn's gases WAS NOT involved in the crashes i was experiencing.
