Alrighty. I may use your mod just to generate my server, lol. Can one person own more than one town? I may try to use it to protect all the land for the various NPC nations in my server. ^.^
Thats what Nations are for. A player rules a nation and invites other towns to join his/her nation. As the nation grows larger the main town of the nation gets more blocks to expand further.

hello and thanks for aperf
i've got a server and wanted to analyse the packets send from the server to the clients to identify mods and so on because
on a normal region of my server i've got around 70 packets/s
and in one region i've got a massive amount of 800!! packets/s and i want to analyse where this comes from.
when i type aperf p s... wait some time and type it again... i just see some text... packet 250 and 211... no amount... not other packets... no useful information?
LtGreeneyes: As Nanakism said, nations are the closest you can get to that currently.
Nightreaver: I haven't really done much with aPerf yet, so I don't know exactly how it works at the moment. I will look through the code and see if I can figure out what is suppose to be output and everything

A curious question i have here. When i read some of the description you have on github for mytown. I noticed you said "claim half-blocks" Can you explain this at all? I can't seem to figure that out.

Does anyone have an example server.cfg file with chat colours working?
I can't seem to figure out what to put in for the color without it breaking horribly in the game :S

its in the documentation. If you run the mod on MCPC+ turn all the section signs into &. They should work then,
Example &4Admin as a suffix will give all players with the admin tag a red tag.

Where can I find the documentation? The only thing the documentation on the website seems to lead to is the commands, I can't find anything related to this :S
Also not sure where a suffix would go?
Basically I try to use the example in the config file itself : 1;Global;G;§f
Then whenever I actually start up the server it turns in to S:Channel_Global=1;Global;G;§f
and ingame I get G surrounded by Â's

Your better hope is to simply run a MCPC+ server backend rather then forge. Support may always be iffy at best. But the pros greatly outweigh the cons. Plus you can run MyTown using pex which is a godsend.

Nanakisan: The half-block statement isn't really a good description, but basically you can set what ystart and yend you want the permissions to check, and anything between the two y values are stopped, anything outside that can happen just fine.
Shadowbreed: Prefix and suffix is defined using PermissionsEx (included with ForgePerms). For colors, you need to use the section sign (§) or change the setting to use &.

Ahhh i see thank you for the clarification on that. it would be interesting if there was a x and z variant of that feature. That way we could just constrain the width of the claim in various ways.
I have another question as this isn't really clarified. How do i automate the giving of say claim blocks as packages for donors and stuff?
I just tried running MyTown, Forgeperms, and the API on 1.6.4 MC, Forge 953 and I get this error on world load:

Nanakism: You can give the doners different mytown.mayor.blocks.(2|4|8|16|32) and mytown.resident.blocksmulti.(2|4|8|10) or you can set mytown.res.blocks (which is an option/meta node).
Changes:
Re-wrote the commands
Fixed lots of protection classes
Added Flan's Mod, Dubstep Gun, Xeno's Reliquary, and Lycanites Mobs support
Added /nick
Removed ee nodes when using MCPC+!
Probably other things, but just forgot

Thank you for pushing this beta update!
I'm curious (will find out with some testing) if this covers Ars Magica 2 and/or portal/gravity gun block pickup. Hate to resort to using an interdiction matrix to confiscate trouble items in admin/spawn areas.
I'm also curious what the deal is with MyTownEcon. I slapped it on my server, but ran into an issue where when players deposit econ into their town's bank, it just vanishes. The balance is removed from the player and never makes it to the town's bank. I searched the dev's GitHub ticket page and found an open ticket with the same issue and dropped my 2 cents in on it. Still haven't heard anything from the dev, but I do know he's working with you to make it the official econ hook plugin.
I should mention I'm using MCPC+ on Direwolf20.
Anyways, keep up the good work! This is a far far better solution than Towny AND Grief Prevention AND World Guard put together.
Shadowbreed: Prefix and suffix is defined using PermissionsEx (included with ForgePerms). For colors, you need to use the section sign (§) or change the setting to use &.
Ahhh thank you!, no wonder I couldn't get it solved, I was going through the mytown.cfg the whole time.

Got this up and running just fine! I'm glad you removed the ee nodes - it seems people had a hard time setting that up in previous versions. Not sure if it's a lack of documentation or what, but it was a tad frustrating. Worth it though.
I wanted to point out that even with the beta, Ars Magica 2 dig spells (not sure if any other spells can) can bypass protections... and it's pretty bad. One of my players had their entire town destroyed by another player with this spell. I went ahead and added things like chests and Applied Energistic items to the blacklist for the dig spell in the AM2 config, but seeing AM2 completely covered in future MyTown updates would be more than appreciated!
I also want to note that portal/gravity guns are still able to pick up blocks.

A trick i intend to use regarding that situation is make the portalgu nand gravity gun a trust tier item. I currently run my server with ItemRestrict and MyTown respectively. It works wonderfully together. Ires can grab problem items from peoples inventories or simply block its use.

I am glad I removed the ee nodes as well, they where unnecessary and absolutely silly to have
I haven't started on AM2 support yet, but that will hopefully be one of the next additions
Gravigun and Portalgun block grabbing is done in an odd way that makes it extremely hard to stop. Basically, when you grab a block Portalgun/Gravigun sends a packet to the server telling it what block to pick up, the server receives it and adds it to a "grab list". I can intercept the packet that Portalgun/gravigun sends, but as far as stopping it, I don't think it is going to be easily possible without a lot of tricks.

I was curious. What is the format regarding the use of aperfs configs and mob spawn limiting? Is there a specific manner it has to be put in? I couldn't find any documentation on this. Not even a example for the config.

Glaciatexiii: Make sure you include the MyTownLib in the mods folder. http://mytown.mineyo...d/MyTownLib.jar
Also: For anyone wanting to beta test the next version of MyTown, ForgePerms, and the Bridge.
Please backup your server, some things have changed and may break!
