Mr_TJP, please don't prefix second argument of ResourceLocation with slash, doesn't seem to work good.
Ive got the server issue fixed, if anyone wants to put up a compile version of that is welcome, at the moment, re-obfuscation with special sources in FML is broken, and i don't have the time to do it manually.
"Kinetic generators" drops as a block when broken on crative
Kinetic generators are not even close to done yet, no function, no recipe, no sail rendering either. Actually, not even sure how the blocks is even available, i thought i had commented it out.
I expected the screwdriver to be able to rotate the air turbine base. I guess I was wrong.
Also - no sail or power output information appears when I insert the turbine obtained via creative inventory
EDIT: Allright. It won't let me place the sails in when there is not enough space, so I guess then are simply not rendering? Are they even supposed to?
EDIT2:
I think you said something about stuff not updating, but just to be sure..
(UPDATE: Ah yes, you said that thing stops ticking - and things like this happen)
I built two bundled cables, the self-supporting lime wire, the redwire.
And then I removed the other bundled cable (used to be on the bottom-right)
and placed a new bundled cable (on the bottom-left)
EDIT3: Even on redstone signal change it won't update and always looks off.
It works, though. It's all visual-only.
EDIT4: It seems that lamps don't like smooth lighting. I don't mind, 'cause I have that off.
Also note the redwire powering it looking turned off.
PS: The lime lamp I got seems rather dull compared to (non-glowing) wires.
EDIT 5: Self-supporting insulated wire in the same block as bundled cable also stops ticking.
It won't even perform the initial update (the red square inside won't glow, even though the wire is on)
All those ticking bugs are in FMP, Chickenbones is working on it. Power still flows through, but the visual updates are scheduled for update for the NEXT tick, so if the next tick never happens, no update.
Left: yea i know, i have to shrink the jacketed wire slightly to a point where fighting stops but it isn't visually noticeable.
Right: not sure what looks weird, the jacketed part isn't suppose to render over the cut part of the cable where you can see inside.
"Kinetic generators" drops as a block when broken on crative
I am not seeing any particles when breaking wiring.
Freestanding wire connects to non-freestanding one.
EDIT: Also happens with un-insulated red alloy.
And between free-standing red alloy and lying insulated wiring.
The tests show, that the free-standing wire mis-connects only when the lying wire under it does.
Yea, its recognizing the entire multipart block, and since there is a part in there that is allowing a connection (the lime wire in that case) it thinks the entire side is allowing connections.
There are a bit too many differently-coloured "pixels" at one spot, which makes it look weird.
I think it would look better if the wire didn't "go though" the self-supporting version.
Seeing the "bare wires" sticking out of something that is actually connected looks wrong.
I am pretty sure I am suggesting complex changes again
I think I would prefer the self-supporting one on the top.
Yeah. Definitely would.
Are you testing the latest version? Are you running other mods during these tests?
Seems the last version conflicts with EE3. Put an error log on their forum, can put if here if you like. Asked Ireee about using mods because I can't get your latest one to work---think it's more of an NEI issue. But, 3.2.1.34 seems to be working just fine. Running about 48 mods now, but not EE3 either at the moment.
Sorry about that false bug report the other day; it was an ID conflict with a Buildcraft pipe. These pipes doesn't like being overwritten and trows an error that didn't look like an ID conflict. At least I'll be able to enjoy your mod on 1.5.2 without changing the modpack and I won't report this kind of bug anymore. Thank you for this great mod!
Has anyone gotten Izstas' build working with Mystcraft?
Not sure whose side it is on but with Mystcraft installed all the items/blocks from PR except the alloy furnace are invisible, unbreakable, and insubstantial. Removing Mystcraft returns all the PR content to normal behavior on an existing world. Re-installing it causes them to bug out again. No crashes, no errors that I can see in the logs.
Izstas' build of PR 4.0.0 pre35
Mystcraft 0.10.6.00
Forge 819
Further investigation reveals it was a block ID conflict between Mystcraft and ForgeMultiPart.
Why it never showed an error in the logs or crashed before is beyond me
All seems well now.

If I remember correct there are at least 2 IDs in Buildcraft that has to be consecutive (1520 and 1521?) you can change them but they have to be "n" and "n+1". I think it is the IDs for oil. I changed all BC IDs by adding 1000 to each and that worked (in 1.5.2 at least).

A detailed walkthrough of the error, its code path and all known details is as follows:

I guess I didn't understand the "analogue" mode of the light sensor.
I connected a redstone-dust line to it.
I wasn't able to get other signal strengths than 0 (complete dark) and 16 (everything else)
It only works on red alloy wire, it emits a signal 0 - 255 based on the equation ((lightlevel*17)+1). That goes for everything else to. If you find a bug that involves redstone dust not working I DONT WANT TO HERE ABOUT IT. Period. I DID NOT code anything to work with redstone dust.
I already know about this.
