I am trying to use Project Red as a replacement to RP2 for MC 1.6.4. No matter which version of 1.6.4 mod I have tried I get severe lag that makes MC unplayable. Any fixes to this?
So I know I saw something about this issue a while back. I get the bug where the ProjectRed related GUI's in game are dark or blacked out. I tried to read back into the forums but got nowhere. Is there a known fix for this. I've tried it with other mods and on its own and still get the same issue. I also tried build #44 and #45, multiple versions of forge and updated my machines Java. Any hints you guys have?

I believe you are referring to issue #420, also on the forums as post #2730 and #2797. Very few reports, but try updating your graphics card driver.

Yeah I've seen the reports before just couldn't find them at the moment. My graphics drivers are up to date. If anything I hope this brings more attention to the issues cause its been around for a several version and is the only mod that I experience this issue with.
I decided to read Project Red's licence and discovered a shocking (kind-of) fact: It is not open-source by nethier common understanding nor by the OSI's definition. So please update your banners or choose a different licence, this is misleading.
Exactly how is this not open source? The common understanding at least is "to have the complete source code freely available to read/modify/contribute to/etc." which is right here, so that part of your argument is inaccurate.

They should be there. They are usually very close to the bottom of the map and are not very large clusters. I can confirm that they are there.

i cannot find any one PR stone gem,
i think PR incompatible with UBC/metallurgy

both modules big and give me 2 mb free mod budget! ( for example its 50% monster-ic2 budget),
its very good, i like PR module system and want all mods had standalone module scheme too
performance aspect its problem #1 for big packs SSP/SMP now
