Hello! I have a little question. I am making a private modpack (only for me) and I have a bunch of mods, including Project Red. I also have Thermal Expansion, and this is where the problems appears. When I installed Thermal Expansion, Forge Multipart was auto-installed. And when you Install Project Red, Forge Multipart is also Auto-Installed. And that causes a conflict, making so I cant play. So is there any way to not install Forge Multipart when you install Project Red? I really want to use Project Red, so I hope for some help from you guys!

Why is this causing you a problem? I don't think I understand the problem. I have both Thermal Expansion 3 (3.0.0.2) and ProjectRed (4.2.2.19) on my server, and they very happily get along together and use the same ForgeMultipart (currently 1.6.4-1.0.0.227). It just works.
In what way is it not working for you? Do you possibly have an older, conflicting ForgeMultipart version installed as well? What is in mods/1.6.4?

When I start Minecraft with both mods installed, It chrashes, and shows a message on the screen saying something like this: "Forge Multipart - Conflict ID: (something)" That is the only thing that pops up. Removing Project Red fixes it.

Delete your 1.6.4 directory and relaunch, it will redownload and should work then. Worked fo rme anyway =) Make sure you ironed out any block conflicts if present too.

You HAVE checked for block ID conflicts between ProjectRed and your other installed mods, right....? By the sound of it, you should probably start by checking the mods that add cuttable blocks.

Hello,
i am running a vanilla/forge server: minecraftforge-universal-1.6.4-9.11.1.965-v164-pregradle and with ProjectRedBase-1.6.4-4.2.2.19 only i get this error:
Description: Exception in server tick loop

at cpw.mods.fml.common.Loader.sortModList(Loader.java:228)
at cpw.mods.fml.common.Loader.loadMods(Loader.java:491)

at net.minecraft.server.ThreadMinecraftServer.run(SourceFile:583)
i used to use mcpc for server but kept having issues with chunk loading so i switched to vanilla/forge. Any light on this error is greatly appreciated.
error on my part. seems i forgot to add codechicken. issue resolved.
Want to say thanks for making this mod, filling a much needed gap.
I had a PR volcano generate in a Mushroom Island Biome. When exploring underground, this area of the biome spawns hostile mobs, which breaks one of the rules of MC, that no hostile mobs spawn in Mushroom Island biome.
would it be possible to disable volcano spawning in this biome?, or possibly add an exclude parameter in the projectred.cfg, that we can add biome ID #s to and it would exclude generating volcanoes(or any projectred structure, if that is easier to code) in that biome?
There are a few vanilla biomes that should not gen them, Mushroom Island, Mushroom Island shore, Sky(unless volcanoes are wanted in the Ender, which some may want, which is why a config exclude seems like the best option). The exclude parameter in projectred.cfg would also allow users to prevent volcanoes generating in other mod's biomes that it would not be appropriate to have them.
## Add Biome ID #s, to prevent volcano generation in them, comma separated
volcano_gen_exclude 9,14,15
just an idea of what I am talking about.
Again, thank you for making this mod

you mean to change the Xmx1G to Xmx2G?
that's not permgen, this is:
-XX:PermSize=256M
Does this mod add the machines from RP2? I downloaded the parts and could not find them.
If not, is there a mod that adds them?
Thanks.

The highlighted spot in the backpack is unresponsive to taking items out of it. I am using the white backpack if that means anything.
