The slightest similarity . . . pneumatic pipes could almost replace Buildcraft
Lol. You apparently didn't get the news, but Buildcraft pipes have been made obsolete by other mods ages ago. Thermal Expansion, Tubes!, Mekanism, EnderIO just to name a few.

I was more referring to back when Redpower was still alive and Buildcraft was top of transportation, which was the beginning releases for most of those mods. I also want to point out every one of the mods you listed has worked to integrate into Buildcraft, and their systems that do the same thing as Buildcraft are just upgrades to the Buildcraft versions and not replacements. To continue with my point, I don't care if two mods can do similar things, I just want them to be compatible when they do. I dont want it so I have to pump an item into a chest then back out using two different forms of power just to get things from one machine to another, and the last thing I want is a repeat of the Redpower down spiral.
Any chance of having some volcano options? Specifically height above sea level (that is how *high* they can get above sea level), frequency (how often they spawn), biome (which biomes they can/cannot spawn in). And possibly a Basalt Caves option to add basalt without volcanoes.
I really like basalt but dislike the frequency and shape of the volcanoes as they are.
I'd like it if there were more variation in volcanos. The frequency is fine, and I seem to recall that's tunable in the config, but they shouldn't ALL be tall, surrealistically-steep needle spires. Occasional spire volcanos is OK, but IMHO the majority should be traditional cinder cones, with occasional steeper lava spires and occasional shallower shield volcanoes. (And if there could be the very occasional open caldera too, that would be awesome.)
OK .... the notification I got had a large amount of base64-encoded content that kinda tripped my bogometer. Can't be too careful these days, you never know what's going to turn out to have hidden malware in it.
This looks great but there is no description and the official website looks completely obsolete. Is there any information somewhere about modules, recipes, etc? Would it work well with an already existing world with no mean to obtain new resources? I'd like to get this for our server but since the presentation looks pretty amateur I currently can't risk it.

Thanks.
The only module that even has worldgen is the World module. None of the resources are actually needed - it's just some decorative materials and alternate tool materials.
Short version:
* Integration/Transmission module gives redstone wire that can be run on walls and ceilings and has colored, freestanding and bundled variants and is a microblock. Also, logic gates.
* Mechanical/Transportation is an item tubes system. In development at the moment.
* Illumination adds a few types of lamps and glowing buttons.
* World you won't be very interested in if you won't have new worldgen.
For the most part, the you want this for the redstone component.
I am a bit curious as to The support of project red and computercraft, specifically the support for switching bundled cables with computercraft, as it does not seem to function currently. Not sure if this is a computercraft issue or a project red issue? I also apologise if this has been asked previously.
Now here's a bit of a VERY odd bug, that only occurs when running on MCPC+.
With the backpacks, the 7th and 8th slots on the first top row will 'lock' the items there in place, leaving you unable to move them elsewhere within or out of the backpack.
EDIT.
When I identified the bug, I went through whether it was NEI, or related mods, but no. Even with them all removed, it still occured. I'll have to retry it on a vanilla Forge server instance to see if it occurs, but the first time I tried it didn't.

Right, so the 'locked' slot in the first row of a backpack corresponds to the slot it is in the hotbar when opened. VERY ODD
Not as much of a pain as reading these kind of complaints.
If you can't spare 45 seconds of your life to get this great mod, then don't use it.
It's not the 45 seconds, it's all the times when adf.ly just randomly doesn't work, or decides that today would be a good day to make you spend 20 minutes trying to prove you're not a bot.
Love the mod, really happy to see this kind of redstone functionality back in the game.
Have you considered reimplementing the athame from Red Power? I was a little disappointed to realize I couldn't make one, I kinda wanted to go ender hunting and get some pearls.
(Edited because I originally composed a post meant for an entirely different thread. >.<)

Don't be, it's just a .png of an emote-esc Notch.
Thanks.

Thanks. Amazing mod, by the way.
