I have a mod, in my pack, that I wish to remove. "EndPlus".
It has added a lot of "Cavern Stone" underground, that I want to ungenerate before removing the mod.
So far I have run /CraftingManager
on the resulting dialog I disabled all mods except EndPlus, that I set to Ungenerate, and toggled "Regeneration" to enabled.
generationmanager.cfg was saved like this.
I have exited and re-entered Minecraft. I have flown 200m away from my base and back again (should be far enough for the chunks to unload) but the EndPlus CavernStone is still there.
Thank you so much for this post. I had no idea what 0,1,2 meant in the configs since it wasn't in the first post. CreativeMD please not this in first post and in config in the future please. Glad I got it to work since retrogen doesn't work or doesn't have one in some of the mods I've added later.

I highly recommend to use CraftingManager as a way to configure it and yes i will add a comment for this

Unfortunately I have no idea. Have moved on from that world. I never did get it to do any tangible ungeneration so I think we just had giant underground holes in the world eventually.

Maybe it was the height, did you use custom maps? Because it fills stone up to y=60
Can this mod Regen the Ores back ? Lets say you Ungenerated Ores if you regen them would they come right back in the same spot or will it just be a missing hole in the world ? Like after Ungenerating ores there are alot of big holes all in the world ..

Ungenerate should fill the holes with stone & dirt. I don't know if the regeneration would take the exact some positions.
I also wasn't too clear - when(if) the ungeneration works do you need to visit every chunk or does it use dark magics to enumerate them in the background?

If you select to ungenerate a mod, it will remove every block of this mod if a new chunk loads. I recommend to restart the server/ world and fly through all chunks.

Thats unfortunate. On the server I am playing on, i'd guess the players have bases, and have explored an area that is literally about 400km² - there are bases between -7000,-5000 to 15000,18000. The admins have no way to know what of this area is explored / what has been regerated, and the time to do it would be prohibitive.

I'm sorry about this, but that is the way how the mechanic works. I couldn't find any way to get all generated chunks, therefore it is impossible to ungenerate all at once.
did this mod is dead ?
Nope, it works fine

It was using the vanilla world generator.
Could you send me your world and give me the exact version of this mod?
I'll see if I still have the things...
Its been a while theres a good chance I've just deleted this world.
Ok
Released v0.4.2
Released a small fix

Well that must be a bug ;because when I Ungenerate ,and then dig down into the earth I am seeing empty holes everywhere ...
I tested it and it worked fine, note that you have to ungenerate the mod before removing it.
