im having an issue, every time i try to launch lite loader, even without any mods installed, it says that the jobs and versions completed with one failure and wont launch the game at all, it happens wit hall versions for me, idk if its cuz i have to use a cracked launcher or if its cuz of something im doing wrong, it says that it failed at downloading some of the files needed

Didn't Liteloader used to have a check box to conjoin Liteloader with Optifine or Forge in it's installer? I had installed Optifine with Liteloader 1.8 a month or so ago, but Optifine had been updated since, so I decided to reinstall them but because that check box wasn't there, I was confused and just decided to do what the tutorial told. When I do that, a profile for both Optifine and Liteloader are created, and a profile for Liteloader + Optifine. Only the Optifine one works succesfully, and the Liteloader + Optifine one doesn't have either working, and the Liteloader alone doesn't work.

Just follow the instructions for installation in the OP, don't bother creating a profile/version for Optifine, literally just chuck the Optifine jar into /mods/1.8/

I see that you have applied the Eclipse Public License to Liteloader, but am wondering if the mods that we create also inherit this license, or if we can apply our own license... like Apache's. They really wouldn't be a "derivative"... I don't think. Looks like MCP is pretty flexible, just not sure about yours.

LiteLoader is not released under EPL, not sure where you got that idea, it is not an open source project, it's merely under my copyright and I grant explicit permissions to create derivative works, redistribute in source or binary form, and use the source code for educational purposes, with all other rights reserved.
This means that unless you're using a license which is intrinsically incompatible with non-copyleft licenses, then you're absolutely fine and don't "inherit" any baggage from liteloader (since generally you're not redistributing anything from liteloader in your redistributables, only linking against it). Works which you create which link to it are kind of intrinsically derivative, but this isn't an issue really.
Since a lot of open source licenses make provision for linking against closed source and non-copyleft libraries, I don't see that you'll have an issue.

I could had sworn it had that on the original post. But then... I saw that I had several IE sessions opened going through your API stuff and it was on the WorldEditCUI page. So it was that specific mod that was licensed under the EPL, and I simply jumped the gun.

I don't suppose it's possible to use mods not designed for LiteLoader (drag and drop mods) along with this? I want to use a few mods that require LiteLoader plus one mod that you install like you would most other mods. I've created a profile using the installer that extends from the profile with the modded jar. The modified jar works just fine and how you would expect, but when I run the LiteLoader profile only the LiteMods and Tweaks take effect. No mods from the modified jar take effect. It's as if I installed LiteLoader from a vanilla version of Minecraft, but I didn't.
I realize that I'm using a snapshot version of the LiteLoader installer, but it's much more likely that I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing. I assumed that I could install a mod like you would manually install Forge, then use LiteLoader on top of it. Was I wrong to think this? Or am I doing something wrong?
I don't know if this is in the right place. I have liteloader installed and Voxelmap works on my liteloader profile (YAY!)
But I am trying to run it on my forge profile with my thaumcraft.
From what I read they all should just work together, and they are all in the mod folder. I just don't know exactly how I am supposed to make this all work together. At this point I have my forge profile running my thaumcraft and baubles mods. And I have my liteloader profile running my voxelmap. How can I merge these things? Also, I am running 1.7.10 for all of these things.

I'm almost certain LiteLoader acts as a generic mod loader, as I have been able to load Optifine and Shaders Mod with the jars just being in the mods/(minecraft version number)/ folder that it creates.
Which means that if I drop the mod into /.minecraft/mods/1.8/mod.jar it should load up. But it doesn't, I've tried. Which is why I'm mystified as to what is and isn't a "tweak". I have Optifine already working just fine, but the Optifine jar isn't only a mod, it's also an installer. The .jar I want to install only contains the class files necessary to make the mod run.

Yes it's because you're using a cracked launcher.
No, litemods are litemods and Forge Mods are Forge Mods, you can't convert one to the other.

Don't use a cracked launcher
