We're having trouble now, could I trouble you for some help? This mod seems to work fine, we can create plants, they work, and we get the zombies. But normal mobs have stopped spawning. We really wanted to add the PvZ plants to our normal games, but not if it means no more mobs.
We're not on peaceful and spawning a mob manually in creative mode works fine. We play survival, so want normal spawns at night, plus a little danger when mining and exploring.
Is there a config setting that might fix this?

After a lot of searchng I thought I had it when I found this:
/gamerule doMobSpawning true (Didn't fix it though)
If I remove this mod from mod folder and load a world from before installing PvZ, everything still works fine.
But now even after removing this mod, our main game (that the whole family has played) still doesn't spawn mobs. Whatever it changed seems to have been permanent in any world where we used this mod.

Tested many other existing worlds, every time I enable PvZ, is disrupted normal spawns. Worth looking into.

Only been running htis for about 30 mins and seems fine.
Haven't tried with PvZ again yet.
One suggestion for future versions: Make the Three-peater take advantage of the Wither's multitarget AI. Mainly because in PVZ, the three-peater attacks three different lanes at a time. Also, any plans for 1.7.2?
Bug report: I'm running latest (1.6.4) version of this mod, aka 3.0, and currently I've had a problem with having no sounds whatsoever. Not to mention, I've had a similar problem to Dadnkids, except there are no hostile mobs, and the only passive mobs I've seen are pigs, bats, and maaaybe sheep. I have to spawn in zombies and skellies. Will try a clean install and re-do everything to see if that changes. If not, oh well.
Edit: Clean reinstall and there's vanilla mobs everywhere. So happy now.
Edit2: All right, horrible lag, very similar to squidward820's problem. Please, add spawn rate controls to the config. What is it, a couple lines? Please, it would make it a lot easier here.

2 FPS problem - Don't copy the entire ZIP folder because it includes a PC or MAC version. Delete the MAC folder (Or windows if you do have a MAC) from the ZIP, then place it in mods. I couldn't make it past a single night, then deleted this MAC folder and I stopped having this problem altogether.
Now I have 2 problems of my own...These apply to version 2.3 for 1.6.2. (not all of my mods have been updated unfortunately)
1. Your mod causes zombies to NEVER spawn with armor other than football gear. Ever. As soon as I removed the mod, I started seeing zombies sporting various shades of leather, gold, and chain once again.
2. Your mod is causing the game to progressively slow down more and more, forcing me to shut the game off and start it up again to remedy the situation every half hour. When I removed your mod to see if it was the cause of the armor bug above, I realized my slow downs stopped occurring. If it was because of too many mobs spawning, wouldn't it tank immediately? Leaving the area after sunrise also does nothing.
Keep in mind...I do have about 37 mods. The slow downs could be a compatibility problem with another mod. But the armor and slowness problems both stopped when I removed your mod.
DadnKids, I haven't experienced that problem. I've played 3 games between installing and removing the mod. But, I'm using the highest 1.6.2 version and not 1.6.4.

Getting same error same thing adding it to server and loading server up.
Edit: I've been doing a bit of google searching on the error java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraft/client/renderer/entity/Render, it seems its basically saying its not smp compatible or not setup for smp yet properly unfortunately.
If the above is true, will this be made smp compatible ?

Hello everyone. Sorry it has been so long since the last post. Ive been busy with things. Anyway, here is my post for PvZ 3.2, Welcoming the Plants to People.
MultiMC is a free, open source launcher for Minecraft, managed by @Forkk13, @peterixxx, and @drayshak. It allows you to have multiple, separate instances of Minecraft (each with their own mods, texture packs, saves, etc) and helps you manage them and their associated options with a simple interface.

Coconut Cannon-shoots one when you right click it. does 13 damage to zombies
Lightning Reed-shoots lightning from the sky to zombies.
Torchwood:when peas go through it, does 2x damage
Zombies
Conehead- instead has 24 health. doesnt burn in sunlight
If you are using the latest, it is most likely that the seed box was removed. There is now the Greenhouse. Make sure you read up on the updates. A 1.7.2 version should be out soon. I am thinking about re-working some things to make it easier to add more features.

What is the point of sunflowers? They drop two sunlight but they cost 2 sunlight to make.
