how do you feel like abandoning a mod that you wanted to continue? if you wanna continue a mod you need to know you can handle the responsibility, i really wanted this mod for 1.8 >:(
he didn't abandon it, he's working on it. There is just problems with the API and rendering... thingy (it's a technical term). 1.8 mods to do with camera and player rendering is difficult (more-so now than before for whatever reason). Be patient. He's got this.
Also I have a question. Would you be able to integrate the left handed player mod into this? Or someone pick up that abandoned mod? I just want to play left handed again (correctly). It's just a feature request more or less. Thanks for the possibility of consideration.
Sadly, I can't seem to figure how to make the camera follow a model part properly. I can kind of get it to work in some limited cases, but it doesn't work to make the camera follow the player's head while they're sneaking, which is extremely frustrating.
How much experience do you have with rendering code? Do you think you could help me figure out?
There's this thing that is so, so hard to do. Pulling it off takes great sacrifice of time and well-being:
It's to look back a few pages and read what the hell's going on before making the classic "lulz hey guise i luv thes mod wers the downlode link i jus want 2 see my body agen" post. Takes a few minutes max.
--> Nothing has been added into the mod for 1.7.x other than moving hud. You cannot see your body yet. Bugs are being worked through.
I've been checking in for a couple months now, ever since vrackfall began working here. With the few progress posts that vrackfall and, graciously, Zaggy have made, it's been mostly people doing the above.
It'd be simpler if the front page could be edited with progress and the current, not-working state of the mod for current Minecraft versions.
Zaggy, to prevent further lulz-spam, this would be a good move.
Edit: But, a shout-out to everyone who is encouraging Zaggy and vrackfall to push on with progress. Honesty folks, it's great work into a really cool mod. Great Java experience.
So here's mine: take 'er easy. Programming can be pretty frustrating at times, but hey. Keep it up, that coding progress always feels amazing!
he is going to make it compatible with not animated player but, mo's bends because, animated player isn't 1.7.10 and also i hope it is compatible with smart moving mod , advanced capes, and ipixles gender mod
