From what I have used in the past and the report I read in the spoiler I would have to say the issue is most likely either spawn commands mod or else the All U Want mod conflicting with the player spawn module in the dimension. Hopefully, my pointing that out helps any.

Currently working on a new project list. Shut down server due to lack of players/time to work on it among other issues. All of my packs are still available of course.
For me the gloves don't show up in 1st person or 3rd person. They just don't show up. :/ I mean like it doesn't matter they much but it looks cooler when you can see them.

We're very aware of issues with accessories rendering on players and are looking into it for future patches.

I got a crash with the Aether 2 and Witchery. It happens when I hit a placed enchanted broom from Witchery with the extended reach Valkyrie lance. I already reported it to Witchery's mod author, who said that the problem lies in the lance that assumes anything it hits is a living creature, which the broom isn't. Thought it was better to report it here as well.
With this post I want to inform you that I will be adding this mod to the public modpack "QubeSpace."
The modpack will be distributed with a short summary of your mod's contents, a link to this forum thread and a link to this mod's wiki if available.
Thanks for letting us know, and no problem! Glad to see more modpack creators adding this in.

I double click "launcher-start.jar" and get nothing.
Make sure you have no pre-existing files in your .aether (or .aether_old) and no other old Aether launchers downloaded. Also assure that you're on the latest version of Java (preferably Java 8).

Wow I didn't know Aether II was a thing. I never got to experience the first one as it got more outdated and hard to install - can't wait to try this out.
I get a crash whenever I try to create a new world. I am using the correct version of minecraft, java and forge. I have both the aether mod and the Gilded Games Utility in my mods folder. Will I need to get threaded lighting again?
Thanks for any assistance, and keep up the good work!
Thanks for the report, Tombo, but could you please pass this along to our GitHub bug tracker? It's the best place to put these to make sure that it's fixed as soon as possible. https://github.com/GildedGames/aether-issues/issues

can someone please tell me how i can lower the spawnrate of mobs? i asked about lowering spawnrates before but no one has been that helpful. they just said in the config file, but where? i cant see how to do it. i really need to know this because i want to make the aercows rarer as there to many and they are loud and annoying.
another problem im having is that aercows, phygs and sheepuff have started to randomly follow me around. the strange thing is they didnt do that in any of my other worlds and i am on exactly the same version of aether 2 as i was before. i am not holding any wheat since this is an aether only survival and i havent been into a dungeon yet.
Here's the default Flying Cow configuration that's already in your Aether II.cfg:
"flying cow configuration" {
D:"Average Amount of groups in Area"=0.6499999761581421
I:"Maximum Group Size"=4
I:"Minimum Group Size"=1
}
(there's supposed to be four spaces before the content on lines 2-4 but MCF is rude with formatting)
Average amount of groups in area is the group rarity, the possibility of mob groups spawning in a spawning area, being four chunks (2 chunks x 2 chunks). Maximum and minimum group size are the mobs that spawn inside that area.
By default, Flying Cow groups with spawn in 65% of , and these groups will range from one Flying Cow to four Flying Cows. Decreasing the average amount of groups in area will decrease the number of groups that spawn (and is probably the variable you want to change), and group size just determines how many mobs specifically spawn in these groups.
Also worth mentioning for that following thing, Aether animals will also follow you if you're holding berries or oranges. Make sure there are none in your inventory at all and see if they leave you alone.
Sorry for that complicated answer on spawning, probably what I should've explained in the first place. Hope it works out for you, cheers!

That feeling when part of your job is to read crash reports and MCF reads them better than you.
I'll look into this conflict though.
Well I took out both and it still gave me the same exact crash report..

Can you give us any way to reproduce the crash? If we don't know what caused it we can't look into it very well.
I can't really say what I was doing to cause the crash, it just happens. Sometimes I can be just jumping around and I get the same crash.
I made a portal, chopped down some trees and cried when I heard the music.
Literally cried.
This mod makes Minecraft complete.
Please, please keep up the amazing work.

Wow I didn't know Aether II was a thing. I never got to experience the first one as it got more outdated and hard to install - can't wait to try this out.
Thanks for the report, Tombo, but could you please pass this along to our GitHub bug tracker? It's the best place to put these to make sure that it's fixed as soon as possible. https://github.com/GildedGames/aether-issues/issues
Says index out of bounds, I would check any configs manually changed for the number 18496 as that seems to be what's causing the error
Here's the default Flying Cow configuration that's already in your Aether II.cfg:
"flying cow configuration" {
D:"Average Amount of groups in Area"=0.6499999761581421
I:"Maximum Group Size"=4
I:"Minimum Group Size"=1
}
Edit: 500 post hype.
