is there a way to change the spawn rate i looked in the config i saw nothing (im using the jar launcher and changing to getting the mod without the launcher is not an option)

Aether Team please help!!! I have altered my aether launcher, I have windows 8 and very clumsily I accidently changed how I open it ("Open With") and now can start launcher it just comes up as some strange text please help!!! Email Address: [email protected]
I am not on the Aether team, but this is relatively easy to fix. I assume you're using the .jar file, since you can't change how an executable runs so easily.
1) Right click
2) Select open
3)Choose "Java(TM) Platform SE binary"
This should do the trick.

Sorry but, to me, this mod is unplayable until you do something about the multitude of (cloud?) mobs that rush us and constantly push us off of the world. Or, at least where our portals spawn. My portal spawned in the middle of the sky and after (literally) 20 failed attempts to build a bridge to any piece of land I've given up on the goal. There's no point in playing a mod that causes constant frustration and an inability to progress (to some).
Glad to hear it. Sorry if I sounded impatient but frustration has a tendency to bring out the worst in some people. I'll hold off playing until the next version. I'm wholly against cheating and base a mods merits on the ability to play it legitimately.

It's no one's fault- The mod is still only in alpha, after all. And I must say, if they're planning on adding most of the content from the original as well, it's going to be amazing.
Guys i got a problem which could be an easy fix but i dont know what to do.
Im trying to connect to the offical aether 2 server with the client and this pops up
Whenever trying to connect to the "Official Aether Server" (when using Aether II .jar launcher) it says "connection refused: connect". Is the server dead, too many people, or something on my end?
