I've been making my own mod with teams and I noticed that the Aether 2 has a party system that prohibits friendly fire between party members. Could you please tell me how you accomplished this? I know that you probably used an EventHandler.
And also, can we find the Aether 2 source code? It's an amazingly coded mod and I'm sure we could all learn from it if it is open source.
We're working on a 1.7.10 port right now. However, that's all it is, a port. It will most likely not contain any new content from the current version(s) of the Aether II.

I've passed your questions along to the devs and will update when I hear back.

Why not port the current version, instead of porting the outdated version?
When you obviously update to 1.7 (I assume/hope xD ) please ensure that 1.7.2 is there as WELL as 1.7.10. Please?
Probably not since most mods are 1.7.10 Since we're trying to get this update out as soon as we can, 1.7.10 has been our main focus. Sorry to say that a 1.7.2 version will most likely not be happening.

why do people even bother playing on 1.7.2 anymore now that 1.7.10 is out? 1.7.2 is super buggy compared to 1.7.10...
My favorite mod since 1.8 beta also. Thanks for this mod's reborn ;D

There wouldn't really be much to say, other than that it's happening. When we have something worth sharing, we'll share.

Thank you so much!

The signature don't have enough space!!!
Meant to get back to you sooner, sorry!
It is using an EventHandler, yes, and we do plan to go open source in the future.
We are porting the current version, 1.6.4-4.0.
Edit: Hmm, Potts here, seems I've replied from the wrong account again. Oops!
So, that means. It will most likely contain any new content from the current version(s) of the Aether II, instead of not?

A direct port of the current released version of the Aether II. It may contain a little new content/additions, but don't hold your breath.
... does it do that now? I've never encountered this.
i'm talking about the aether menu music playing at the same time as the 1.7 menu music
That shouldn't be an issue.

I wouldn't say super buggy. But mainly because a lot of major mods are still on 1.7.2.
