i know, but in this pack, the things should be more realistic. that means, that diamonds will be more rare than now (thats the reason why i had added progressive automation^^) so it would be a really big gamebreak if anyone would build a big sugarcane farm then its really overpowered ( one time the reeds grow one up, it would make in approximately 570 diamonds and thats a thing i dont want... i want that people must do the reeds in a "machine" to "cook" (oir other) the reeds and get a nugget
But the thing is, it would either take a very long time or be very expensive to get to that point. If you begin with one reed, it will take ~20 mins for it to grow. Repeat that 8 time and you get 1 diamond. Even if you plant reeds as you grow them, it will still take nearly 2 hours to get your first resource. Either you can wait a long time to grow them, or you can spend a ton of resources.
Anyway, your suggestion was harder recipes. What do you think would be a better recipe to use?
I've customized the diamond reed recipe to take a total of 36 reeds to make 1 diamond, by making a diamond nugget (from another mod) instead of a whole diamond. I could make a diamond cost 81 reeds this way.

But the problem is, if you nerf it too much you're better of using another method.
if Orespawn Ores are registered in the Ore Dictionary as vaild ores then it should be automatically be added , just make sure to install the latest version

is there some way to configure the mod so that it allows you to grow silicon using the silicon from AE2 and not need silicon ore generated from Galacticraft?
i could just grow crystal reeds and turn them into dust and smelt them though lol.

Unfortunately not. I think it'd be more fitting to grow the crystals and then turn it to silicon, just like the original mod intended.
yes its more fitting i just wish galacticraft did the same thing.
that and i like the texture for silicon better than quartz. not anything wrong with the texture or anything lol just a preference. also a preference to have everything.

Fiddled with some code, try v2.5.4: http://adf.ly/1SqUq4
Or by requiring more reeds to make something.

Can You Make It With Orespawn Mod's Ores ?

Yep! Exactly that.

Has anyone managed to get this to work with Advent of Ascensions ores?
This mod should work with that mods ores. If not, ask Xolova to register his ores in the ore dictionary.

How do I know if an ore is registed in the ore dictionary?
if you have NEI Integration installed enable Ore Dictionary Names from the config
with Ender Core change showOredictTooltips from 0 to 1
MineTweaker , hold the ore in your hand and type /mt hand
Thanks for that

thx
Would there be any way to personally modify items (of mods) and register them into the ore dictionary?
I think it's possible to use Minetweaker, but I personally don't have experience using it.
This might help though: http://minetweaker3.powerofbytes.com/wiki/Tutorial:Ore_Dictionary
Damm, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much for this (and your mod) =)
thhis shows up in the ore dictionary dump:
oreRosite,1xtile.oreRosite@0,nevermine:oreRosite,Rosite Ore,false
oreRunium,1xtile.oreRunium@0,nevermine:oreRunium,Runium Ore,false
oreSapphire,1xtile.oreSapphire@0,nevermine:oreSapphire,Sapphire Ore,false
Yet none of these are available as growable ores.
Are there a gem/ingot counterpart for these ores? eg gemSapphire, gemRuby etc? My mod needs to find at least one of those to register the ore.
