I didn't want it to be something you get straight away, so I made sure you at least had diamonds.
Also, I'm working on an update that will automatically add ores from the mods you have installed as long as they are registered in the ore dictionary. So far everything is working besides the textures.
Have you looked into Rwtema's Dense ores mod? He dynamically makes the textures for the dense ore variant from the base texture.
Hey B0bGary, nice mod but... its a bit problematic with tps management - ive made a quite big piston farm, one segment build in pattern:
RPoEAEoPR
oPoEAEoPo
oooEBEooo
oooGoGooo
where
R is RedNet cable, P is piston, E is your reed, o is cobblestone, A is air, B is Conveyor belt from MFR, G is your growing block
Segments shares one of its wall, there are about 9 segments in one axis, repeated about 129 times in second axis - farm is cuboid with dims 130x130, surrounded by cobblestone. And there broblem with tps begins - 5 layers of differend reeds (Ive build one for iron, diamonds, gold, ender pearls and redstone) makes horrible lags (ive put farm in Nether, guarded by ChickenChunk's chunk loader ) - when ive destroyed chunk loader and leaved Nether, after few minutes everything was fine. Any ideas, except building smaller farm or many distant small ones, how to ged rid of those lags? Opis pointed many TileEntities, most of them were reeds?
Firstly, I'm impressed that you built a farm like that. Secondly, the reason why it might lag is because the reeds are TileEntities. This lets them store extra data, in this case the growth stage. This allows me to create reeds that take longer to grow than ordinary plants. A small level of lag would be expected, but probably not in the scale your saying. I'll investigate into ways to reduce this lag. The thing is, if you built the same thing using say Thermal Expansion redstone furnaces, it would lag in the same way. I'm not quite sure how to fix it, but I will definitely look into it soon.
Mr.Bobgary my friend is against using this on our heavily modded server due to the possibility of the mod not accessing the OreDictionary. Would you please confirm that I am right that it uses the OreDictionary?

Yep. It uses the Ore dictionary to find the items used in crafting the reeds and the output items. It also won't add the reeds unless there is a material available.
I turned down the rate to 24 instead of 32, but the reads still wont grow it seems. I have waited a good amount of time by now. Is it a bug in 1.7.10 or what?
Hey - I'd like to request permission to use your mod in my pack that I am creating.
- I will be uploading it to ATLauncher and Curse
- I will not directly be making money off your mod by not putting any items in donor kits, although I will have to be getting donations to the server I will have on it, since I can't pay for hosting with no money
- I will leave a link to this forum in the description of the pack
Hi B0bGary
Just to let you know, I am going to use B0bGary's growable ores in my FTB private modpack, EthanbmnzTechPack.
Thank you.

@B0bGary can we please get an update for 1.8 :/ ty
Maybe. A lot of things changed in 1.8 and broke alot of mods. When I'm finished with the 1.7 update I'm working on I'll think about it.

I will make a modpack using this mod!
