You know what the funniest part is? They keep on saying that both groups of mod-fans are equaly guilty for creating this flamewar, yet Orespawn fanboys (not fans, fanboys) are the ones responsible for starting the argumant in the first place and are the most agressive and hypocritical of both these "fanbases". From what I've seen, fans of The Godzilla Mod are either saying that they prefer this mod over Orespawn or that they play with both mods, but for the most part they are passive. I'm sure there are some raging fanboys of this mod too, but I haven't heard about them, nor have I seen them (and I hope that it will stay this way), yet I see fanboys of OS insulting this mod all the time. I may not like OS all that much, sure, but you don't see me going to their website, insulting their mod and sending threats to Theycallmedanger just because I don't like it.
I've got to do something about this.... I'm getting tired of sitting around biting my tongue as people trash this mod.
But there is nothing you can do. No matter what you try, people will never change and overreacting will just fuel them to continue to pick on the mod.
Don't get angry about things you can't change. There will always be stupid people who will hop on the mod's hate-bandwagon.
Just ignore them and get rid of all that hate and put it into the strength of your creations! Get some motivation to have a better mod. They say they don't like it? Try and improve it! They think that Godzilla is overpowered?
Punch them in the face and say "Godzilla is supposed to be that strong!"
But, in the end even if you do improve the mod, even if you do have a good point and even if you've done your best - they won't change. They will always badmouth the mod.
No matter what you do, there will always be good people and bad people in this world, and the bad people will stop at nothing to whip the good people. It's sad, I know. But you should just ignore things you cannot touch - or use it to your advantage to overcome your challenges (while still not running in and being a goofball, freaking out because they won't shut up) and probably become your own identity in this huge place.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Using their insults as fuel to improve the mod would be fantastic because they won't stop insulting the mod.
