I am able to use the 1.7.10 version of this mod, though not with Thermal Foundation rods (and presumably Redstone Arsenal rods will also fail), even after adding them to the extraRodIDs. I took a peek with jd-gui, and it looks like Autofish for 1.7.10 has special handling for Mariculture's custom fish hook entity, but not CoFHCore's similar entity: https://github.com/CoFH/CoFHCore/blob/1.7.10/src/main/java/cofh/core/entity/EntityCoFHFishHook.java

Actually, I've already switched to a new world with a different set of mods (none of which add different fishing rods), so this is less important to me. However, I know enough about Java to see a way to account for more such mods than just Mariculture, without having to code for them specifically: if you make sure the hook is an "instanceof" net.minecraft.entity.projectile.EntityFishHook, you can use getDeclaredField on net.minecraft.entity.projectile.EntityFishHook.class instead of trying to determine whether to call getClass on the hook object directly or get the superclass. I don't know all the mods that add fishing rods and custom fishing mechanics, but Aquaculture also has a hook that extends that same EntityFishHook class.
Hey There So it seems that my Server Has A delay on ClearLag E.G "in 20 Seconds all ground items will be removed". Is there a possibillity to add a dely to it
Just curious but why would you need to add a delay in the auto fishing mod?
Unless of course you don't want it to look like your using an auto fishing mod hehehe

If that's not the case, I think I remember seeing a post regarding someone adding a feature request to make an option for randomizing the amount of time between casts. But I don't remember if it went anywhere or if that was on the old original forum thread. Sorry but you might want to look through all the older posts to see if you can find that thread.

Yes, if you close your game and go into /.minecraft/liteconfig/common/autofish.json you can change the option called recast_delay_milliseconds to whatever value you want. 300 milliseconds is the minimum, if you go below that it will revert it back to 300.
I've been using this mod on a sever and the double cast for Clear Lag doesn't work. I was wondering what I can do to fix it...
I've looked at older posts and done what was recommended but is still not working. I'm typing ^REMOVED [0-9]+ ENTITIES!

What versions are you running on your server? i.e Minecraft, AutoFish, & ClearLagg
The double cast feature is only used in case you have another fishing mod that is preventing AutoFish from recasting after you reel in. Other wise it should just recast automatically (or unless you changed the casting time). If you do have other fishing mods running, which ones?
Or, do you mean ClearLagg is removing your bobber when you fish?
I have two problems with this mod. When clearlag cleans all entities double recast recasting too quick and bobber disappears in mid-air, even with changed recast delay. And second one, I check it only in sp because it doesn't work in mp at all, when i use tellraw to imitate clearlag message, mod correctly recasts the rod but after that it doesn't catch fish any more.

Hey troyboy50, If you see this, or if anyone has fixed this issue before, I have a problem with this mod. I cast in my line and it autofishes perfectly... then suddenly, it just stops working. there is no clear entities plugin installed on the server or anything interfering that I know of. It just simply stops auto casting.
Is there any fix to this issue so I can get back to auto fishing again?
EDIT: I see that when I am AFK auto fishing, the server "kicks" me back into the hub for being afk for too long, but it doesn't bring me to the hub because the server has some kind of bug that wont let you go back into the hub. I realize that that's a problem, but even still, it randomly stops even without the kick mechanic.
Update is coming, I've been very busy and on vacation recently and haven't had the time. Should have it out by the end of the week.

The forge version is not mine and has different features, if that mod has such a feature you'd have to ask about it in its own thread.

Any chance this mod will be available for 1.8.9? I can't get the 1.8 version to work on 1.8.9 client.
