Have a issue about your mod.
I play in minecraft 1.6.4 version and use your mod Bettery Archery with Balkon's Weapon mod.
And my game have two version normal bows is : bow and russian (Лук. Also this mean, this bow version is classic, not from your mod).
For example :
I want to create crossbow (From Balkon's Weapon mod), but one task can't be completed. Because your mod replaces normal classic bow from Minecraft, where recipe have replaced from Your mod normal Bow. And recipe from classic bow is deleted if i use your mod. In the end : I can't create crossbow from Balkon's Weapon mod, because they needed classic Bow, not "Normal bow" from your mod. Because "he" is not acceptable.
What i want?
Can you say me : how to return classic bow recipe without deleting "Better Archery mod"?
P.S. The classic bow there are in game. But recipes for him is not works. Because game system used is bow version from "Better Archery mod".
you don't necessarily equip them, if I read it right you need the rendering API to have them show up on your back, other than that they're just supposed to be in your inventory to be filled, and if I'm wrong then just check the OP

My father and I are trying to use this mod with 61 other mods and we cant get it to work. The conflict is with IDfix. We have to use it to get that many mods to cooperate with each other, but when we install Better Bows, the Idfix changes the ids of the arrows and thus allowing us to create "Vanilla" arrows and not able to craft your arrows, thus not being able to use special arrows. Also, arrows found from Skelentons will fire from any of your bows but crafted arrows wont. (Meaning Vanilla Arrows), is there any way to fix this issue? either an edit in the config file or idfix file?

This is the best mod ever! I love everything about it. Thank you for making such an awesome archery mod This is the mod that I wish I had when Minecraft came out lol I'm definitely switching back to 1.6.4 just to use this mod.
I downgraded to 1.6.4 so I could play this mod. I downloded Render Player API mod like any other mod. But the quiver still wont show up on my back. What am I doing wrong???

If i may suggest something, as you added the option to allow or disable vanilla bow, could you ad a config option to make your skeletons not replace the vanilla ones?, but instead spawn just like any other mob?, but with a lower frequency, as much as i love your skeletons i have a few issues with they being as common as the vanilla ones, and mainly with the vanilla ones being replaced, for example, your bows are quite good, if i may say a little over powered for early game, and a skeleton using them is not necessarily a lot harder to kill than a vanilla skeleton, and your bows being quite easily dropped by the skeletons holding them(a 1/10 rate as i have experienced) they give an excessive advantage on the first few in-game days, and not to mention that your skeletons don't include thaumcraft aspects, and the thing that made me consider removing your mod from my game is the fact that i have another great mod called gravestone, which ads the feature of some skeletons spawning with swords, and as soon as they spawn they get replaced by yours, other thing that may affect heavily modded game experiences is that as i understand your skeletons are completely different from the vanilla ones, and have a unique AI, and they do not become subjects of the changes to vanilla AI that some mods introduce, lets say for example, zombie awareness.
You're not going to get any help by just freaking out in the thread with all caps. Take a deep breath, a step back, then tell us what you were doing. Also include a crash log (preferably contained with spoiler tags - (spoiler)crashloghere(/spoiler), but replace the () with [].)
I've decided to wait until 1.8, so that I don't have to start updating the mod again while I'm working on rewriting it for 1.7. (Plus I've started working on a game project, so I may not devote a lot of time to modding for a while)
Open source would be great tbh. It could get the mod into 1.7.10 fast, and people have been waiting for ages to get their modpacks up and ready for 1.7, and it will often take ages again when 1.8 is released :/. (If you're using many mods, and wait for each to update)
I've been enjoying this mod greatly. Although, I have a lot of mods that add bows; i.e. Tinkerer's construct. It would be sweet to get some support as far as firing your mods' sexy arrows from other mod's bows. Otherwise, all those other bows are a waste. Thanks! Sorry if this has already been mentioned, I checked, only cursively.

i absolutely love your mod, i was going to install TFC (TerraFirmaCraft) and your mod but it doesnt seem to work, can you try to fix it please? (i belive that happens because his mod changes something on the bow mechanics or because of the crafting recipe)
Quiver is in real life used to make the arrows easy to bring with you.I think that it would be a good idea to make the quiver so that it can hold up to 4X64
arrows.the rest of mod is awesome, great job,and the rest of ideas in comments should be in mod too.

If i may suggest something, as you added the option to allow or disable vanilla bow, could you ad a config option to make your skeletons not replace the vanilla ones?, but instead spawn just like any other mob?, but with a lower frequency, as much as i love your skeletons i have a few issues with they being as common as the vanilla ones, and mainly with the vanilla ones being replaced, for example, your bows are quite good, if i may say a little over powered for early game, and a skeleton using them is not necessarily a lot harder to kill than a vanilla skeleton, and your bows being quite easily dropped by the skeletons holding them(a 1/10 rate as i have experienced) they give an excessive advantage on the first few in-game days, and not to mention that your skeletons don't include thaumcraft aspects, and the thing that made me consider removing your mod from my game is the fact that i have another great mod called gravestone, which ads the feature of some skeletons spawning with swords, and as soon as they spawn they get replaced by yours, other thing that may affect heavily modded game experiences is that as i understand your skeletons are completely different from the vanilla ones, and have a unique AI, and they do not become subjects of the changes to vanilla AI that some mods introduce, lets say for example, zombie awareness.
You're not going to get any help by just freaking out in the thread with all caps. Take a deep breath, a step back, then tell us what you were doing. Also include a crash log (preferably contained with spoiler tags - (spoiler)crashloghere(/spoiler), but replace the () with [].)
Open source would be great tbh. It could get the mod into 1.7.10 fast, and people have been waiting for ages to get their modpacks up and ready for 1.7, and it will often take ages again when 1.8 is released :/. (If you're using many mods, and wait for each to update)
