Maybe crafting flame arrows with blaze powder could just give you multiple arrows? It would be much simpler than adding a new feature for them. Or maybe it wouldn't be easier. I'm not a mod developer.
Also, I use modloader not forge, so that's the only reason I'm not downloading it right now. If you had the time to make it modloader-compatible, that would be great, but I don't know how difficult it would be...

Forge fully supports Modloader mods, and it's much better too, so...use it! Making it Modloader-compatible would be quite difficult, and not really worth it considering Forge works with Modloader mods.
Could you put make it so you can put the quivers on your back? I know you can do it because of Mine and Blade.
That's one thing I'd like to do, but I'm not really sure how. I guess I should take a look at Mine and Blade to see how they did it (assuming they didn't edit base classes). One thing that's kept me from doing it is that I'd have to either modify the player rendering code or use the RenderPlayer API (which there don't seem to be any tutorials for).
Thanks for the mod review, and I'm glad you like the mod so much, it makes it worth all the work.
To explain what I mean with the torches not colliding, my code doesn't currently check whether the torches are inside each other, but that doesn't really have anything to do with how they get placed anywhere on a block. I had to do a lot of coding to get them to act that way, but if you like it, it definitely was worth it.
Yes and yes. When a liquid runs over them, they break, and when a piston pushes them, they break. They can be broken individually and they give back the torches. The arrows you pick up after they land will be normal arrows.
Edit: There's one small difference, IIRC. I think if you fire a torch arrow into water, it won't replace the water.
New features:
* Splitting arrow, can be crafted by placing any number of arrows and half that number of string. This is a shapeless recipe. These arrows will split into the number of arrows they were crafted with a little bit after being fired.
Other changes:
* Made the longbow use a 16x16 icon when it isn't being held.
* Vanilla arrow uses different Item class now, expect a message when loading a world about it, but it shouldn't cause any problems.
* Blaze powder crafts 2 arrows.
Bugs fixed:
* Selected one-sized stacks not getting fired sometimes in arrow type mode.
* Skeletons' bows not having strings.
* Quivers crafting with 6 damage rather than maximum.
There will be some pretty unintelligible debug output from my mod that I'll remove later, ignore it.
I also edited the first post with an explanation of the config file settings.

Yay! you took my idea for getting multiple flame arrowswhen you craft them with blaze powder! (I think you did) Also are you able to make flame arrows with charcoal?
And I'm gonna switch to Forge so I can get this mod. I know nothing about making mods, so... Awesome mod by the way. I forget if I said that already.

Curse PremiumHow about just 1000?
And are they buffed version of the regular arrows? That's my guess.

Upgrade to forge its the way into the future.

Curse PremiumActually, I probably could do that pretty easily, the difference between the versions is quite small in what I modified.
Nope and nope.

Made a mod spotlight! Hope you don't mind.
P.S. Might wanna add the crafting recipe for the quiver, I used NEI it out.

Curse PremiumMy guess would be bundled arrows to be shot out of a cannon/ ballista or for multiple arrows to be fired at once.
