Please can somebody help me? I was working on a big map project for 2 years using forge 10.13.2.1291 and optifine. However, I've found new forge versions with better lightning. So I decided to move the map to the forge 10.13.4.1558. And a really bad problem has appeared: carpenter's blocks change to default in not generated areas. If I replace them they would change too.
I don't know what to do with problem so this topic is my last hope.

What did you change? Just Forge?
Or did you update other mods (perhaps even Carpenter's Blocks) as well?
If so, which versions are you using right now?
Did you build those buildings yourself, or are you using something like Lost Cities with custom schematics?
Also, I really hope that you have a backup of that map/modpack.

Doesn't look good. If you are lucky it's just a cosmetic issue, but generally the tile entities are discarded when corrupted and might be saved that way. I'm not aware of Forge breaking the mod in this way, especially between 1.7.10 updates. This is more typical for major Minecraft release migrations. Your only hope is to downgrade and check everything is still good, or restore from a backup. If you can provide your most recent logs I might be able to poke around and look for anything obvious.
Thank you very much! I've found the cause of this bug. It is caused by OptiFine on Forge versions above 10.13.2.1291. I still do not know whether there are such problems on older versions of the mod or on newer versions of Forge.
I will try to write more about this, as I think this bug can be a big problem for OptiFine users.
Below are pictures before and after shutdown of the mod.
As I promised:
-----------
“Error deleting custom block settings”
The problem arises due to the movement of the player around the world. When loading a map, all buildings using Carpentier block decorations remain in good condition. But their disappearance due to the movement of the player causes a reset of all the settings of the decorations.
On the first and second photo you can see the consequences.
However, this error is purely cosmetic, so all the consequences in the player’s field of view disappear when the map is reloaded (photos 3 and 4).
The error was directly related to the versions of OptiFine, and not to Forge. When installing the version of OptiFine above 1.7.10 HD U E3, the game starts to incorrectly read the state of the blocks and therefore displays them unchanged. Therefore, to eliminate the error, it is necessary to upgrade to OptiFine version 1.7.10 HD U E3.
-----------
I hope that this problem will not occur again and that this analysis was useful to you. All the tests I conducted showed its disappearance after the establishment of an older version of Optifine.
this site will be archived on the 16th and no one else will be able to log in. Where can we get news of mod updates?
I really like carpenter's block and I hope someday I can use it in the recent versions of the game ^^[/pre]
Just keep an eye on the website posted in OP, or check CurseForge for any new releases. People usually leave comments there if they want updates as well. Development is happening occasionally but not on any schedule.

Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/
How do you download it
In the 1.12.2 there aren't the stairs, I need it a lot. Can you add it in a next patch for the 1.12.2?
Just so you know. It is very possible that a "next patch" may never come or at least not for a long while.

I guess this is dead now. The last update was five months ago. Always sad to not see a great mod in the mod lists for newer versions.
Helping hand on Misa's server (<- Link) Check by for the latest updates to Misa's Resource Pack!
To be fair, the fact they got this mod working at all in 1.12.2 with all the new block model stuff is pretty freakin' impressive.
MCreator is just for whiny people who can't get ForgeGradle set up properly.
I am proud to read that you want to rewrite Carpenters.
Keep on moving on and enjoy the coding.
Have a nice day!
alguem me ajuda nao sei onde instala
Where´s the download button?
Looks to still be up on the Carpenter's Blocks website linked in the OP.
