For slopes? Cycling through them with the scroll wheel AND auto-corning should be enough I would think. If you can think of a more intuitive way to build with them, feel free to let me know.
Is it possible to have the garage door accept mob/player heads as a covering? A rollup door of mob heads just sounds awesome or the holloween season!!!
I've started a new development push for some upcoming changes, and to also address some issues with 3.3.7. I could just release a patch update with a couple fixes, but I don't consider the current build unusable. In particular, permissions are always enforced, regardless of the setting in the configuration file. Also, illumination works as expected, but blocks don't have any light output when used as covers.
If you're fine with those bugs, keep using 3.3.7. If you want fixes, grab 3.3.8 DEV R1 from the website. I plan on adding some more things before pushing a new stable version.
If you're planning feature additions, any chance of adding two additional options to Carpenter's Garage Doors? I'm thinking 1. an additional hammer-right-click rendering option for the doors that looks like heavy bars or beams of whatever material they are skinned with, instead of thin doors, and 2. a hammer-settable mode to have the doors slowly raise/lower one row at a time instead of snapping fully up all at once. (Say, one row per second.) The goal, of course, is to be able to use those two options together to make a portcullis mode (possibly accompanied by less of a click and more of a CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK on each row when combined), but the slow-action mode could be useful all over the place.
Crash when i use the hammer on a carpenter's block :/ version 3.3.8 dev r1
Yep, I got the same thing, on a brand new, fresh install of 1.7.10 with the newest Forge. No other mods. 3.3.7 works fine, though.
Also, bravo on the 16-step collapsible blocks. Thanks to that, I'm pretty sure I now have everything I need for my project.
Edit: Also, apparently I can never post again after this, as my post count has deemed me to be a mathematical dessert. So... good thread for final post?
Hey in the next or two updates could a larger variant of the carpenter's flowerpot be added? Some of the extrabiomes XL flowers clip the current one because of how they're laid out. I think a "deep dish pizza pan" one would look nice

'Pizza pan'? Heck, how about a full-block size planter? Skin it with clay or whatever stone you want.....
For a bonus, if it were able to be "filled with" either dirt or sand, chosen by hammer click, then you could use it for cacti as well.

I'm not particular on a full block because that can just be done with a full block. You can also already make a "tree box" with carpenter's so i'd like to see a planter for mid sized plants.
A full block planter would also deny any sort of home window viewing pleasures or having a larger desk plant.
The flower pot wasn't really coded to easily support different size scaled plants. It would probably be a bit of work. If a particular plant doesn't fit well I can change its profile when planted in the pot. It may help with plants escaping the pot.
Can we have a way to craft the different shapes instead of having to cycle through them? It would cut my build time to 1/100th.

I didn't realize you could scroll through them like that. Ignore my previous comment, I can't think of a better way to make them work.
I was trying to build a base and after an hour I only had a 3x3x3 area done because I kept right clicking with the hammer.
If mobs dont want pass through the doors or garage it is bug or protection feature?
That's some cheaty idea +1
Is it possible to have the garage door accept mob/player heads as a covering? A rollup door of mob heads just sounds awesome or the holloween season!!!
Not really. I mean possible, sure.. but not with this mod.
I actually have no plan how to get a Rail on a Slope, can anyone give me an advice?
Use any Carpenter's block that has a solid top face, and place a rail above them. A slope will automatically appear.

Both cool ideas, I can try for sure.
