I also want to report this problem.
I was very glad to find a boat mod which provided a better way to have pets travel with you across water, but it seems to not be working properly.
If you have a pet on a lead in the boat with you, you can see that while it appears you stop moving, you actually don't. The pet will continue on in the boat you are still controlling, but your character model and camera will stop moving. Dismounting the boat will move you to the location you were actually in.
I want to ask if you can do the Forge version of SophWolves for 1.6.4 please? And will you update and add new features to 1.8 version of the mod? Like guard function for example?
For LavaBoars-- It would be cool if there was a normal large boat. Also, the boats are held inproperly in the hand.
This mod adds SOOOOO many wolves to the Twilight Forest. Like, hundreds and hundreds as far as the eye can see. Any way to tone that down? They're fine in the overworld but nutso buttso in the TwiFo.
Well, I'm uninstalling this mod because the twilight forest incompatibility is breaking my server and the dev doesn't appear to be active. Disappointing. Wish this was kept up and didn't have that glitch because, even broken, it seems to be the best wolf mod out there.
I was informed about this problem few times before, but I still can't reproduce it... Anyway I have no time to support minecraft 1.7 anymore.
Also you can set "RespawningWolves" to false to prevent sophisticated wolves spawn(they will not be spawned in the world, but you still be able to convert vanilla wolves to sophisticated wolves).

Lava boats is a bit flakey. I just used it to travel through a swamp area heading out to the ocean and after a rather short boat ride it simply stopped moving and I had to jump off. When I did the boat was gone, simply disappeared, nowhere to be found.
Is the 1.7.10 version of the sophisticated wolves mod compatible with the doggy talents mod? I'm thinking of trying out doggy talents, but I wouldn't want to if there was an incompatibility between it and the sophisticated wolves mod.

This mod wont work on the 1.8.9 version, it says it's for minecraft 1.8 and i'm using the wrong version of the mod. Did you upload the right file to curse?
On curse it says the version 3.6.0 is for minecraft 1.8.9, that's the version i'm using.
EDIT: I tried the 3.5.0 version(for mc 1.8.0) and it worked, did you submit the right versions for curse ?

lavaboat mod isn't working for 1.8 I tried it and the same thing happens it works for a little and then gets stuck, dismounting teleports you to the place you got in. love this mod would love to see it updated.
Hi I am getting an error with Sophisticated Wolves.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: ID is already registered: 70
Is this mod using hard coded entity ID's instead of utilizing Forge's auto-assignment?
Can you please add a setting for first entity ID to the config file which can be set to -1 for auto-assignment.

Could you please update the 1.7.10 version of Sophisticated Wolves mod because that is the version I usually play on.
Hi NightKosh, I believe (could be wrong) I may have found 2 or 3 bugs with Sophisticated Wolves 3.6.1 for 1.9.
One is related to the "Better collision": I had 2 wolves, both would follow behind me, but for some reason they would push into each other so it looked like it was just 1 wolf, until I stopped moving then they would stop and one would then move a few blocks away. But while they followed me, they physically merged into each other.
Is this an unfortunately side-effect of the Better Collision, or is it not supposed to do that??? (It was 1 Black & 1 Grey wolf if that matters)
Second issue, "Peace of Mining": I had to go AFK for 5 minutes while playing last night. So I mined a small 2x2 block tunnel approximately 8 blocks long in a cave I was exploring, went in taking both wolves with me and blocked off the entrance so we'd be safe. I went off AFK and came back 5 minutes later to see I was now standing at the opposite end of the tunnel! I watched for a minute and saw I was being nudged and moved around by the wolves as they were roaming the small tunnel.
Is this a bug, or is it a silly vanilla pathing issue that can't be avoided???
Lastly, I'm not sure if this is a bug, or a stupid vanilla MC issue. I had 2 wolves commit suicide on me in less than 2 minutes! While attacking and avoiding 1 creeper, I unfortunately backed up into another creeper which exploded and caused a fair amount of damage to me and both wolves.
I quickly got to safety by going up a ladder, when I reached the top the wolves teleported to me like normal, but 1 wolf decided to just walk around and drop off the ledge about 10 blocks high, which as he had just taken damage it killed him.
Then less than a minute later as I climbed down, the second wolf teleported down to me, then walked off in the direction of a zombie and dropped off a high cliff killing him too
So, what do you think: Vanilla pathing issue or something wrong with SW 3.6.1 in my game???

It is not my bug. One of your mods used static ids for its mobs(or takes its ids in a wrong way) - this is the reason of mobs' id conflict. So I can't help you with it.
