What if an AEC (Alchemical Energy Container) is the loot? Like, some hundred thousand CV to reproduce our diamonds?
To make it work just make it so this mod checks whether MA is exist or not.

I would love to try this. Assuming you don't mind letting a idiot run around with pants on his head looking for treasure beta test this I mean.
I recently got a recording program that isn't Fraps(too damn big) and would enjoy making a fool of myself looking for all kinds of fancy swag.

This is an excellent idea! Treasure hunting... I'm actually surprised that there aren't more mods aiming to do something similar. I guess the closest thing is the Artifact mod and that's really more like random happenstance. All of the rest of it is pretty neat as well, the weapons/tools/armor are uniquely designed. I like the idea of the enchantment siphon, I've always thought the vanilla enchanting system was rubbish, so anything that makes that system less tedious is a bonus in my book.

Well thanks! Hoping to have some new items in the next week to share with everyone!
Well I have some disappointing news. Recently, I made a block that can be recolored using dyes and retextured using blocks, defaulting with the wool texture. This allows millions of different color combinations which would help in pixel art and decoration purposes in general. However, I may have to exclude them because of the way the game loads. Blocks are loaded first and then tile entities are loaded. Since these have to make use of a tile entity, they show upon load as a black block with the default texture. Opening/changing the block's inventory will fix this, but I am not sure you'll want to go around and update every one of these blocks when you load the world.
This leads me to the same problem with a different block. The Phaser blocks also make use of tile entities. I finally got them working as best as I want them to, but the problem is that the blocks are also loading before their tile entities, and therefore are showing up as a texture-lacking block rather than the block they are supposed to be copying.
Unless I can find a way to fix these issues (unless you want them as is with the issues) I will probably have to remove them from the mod. I really don't want to but I want the best experience for my users and I think going around and updating all of your blocks will take a lot of time and fun out of the mod.
Beta is still open for anyone that wants to apply! Read the information on the first post!
EDIT: The first beta link has been distributed to authorized users under my supervision. Beta is still open, so submit your applications if you want to join!

Doesn't the Chest and Spawner do stuff like that? You may want to look at them for help.

Not quite. The problem with my stuff is that the blocks get attributes from the tile entity. Since the block gets loaded before the tile entity, the tile entity's attributes aren't being read.
A big map containing all the treasure chest you've plundered?

I will say, good idea for un-crafting but way too expensive for my taste. The reason I made that thread was to find someone that wouldn't chunk up the entire game with a lot of magical weird stuff.

Expensive how? Besides, I already told you in your thread there will be options to only enable certain parts. If you want to download and do away with all of the other features, that can be your own decision. I'm not "chunking up the game," I'm making a configurable mod with lots of nice features that can be enabled and disabled at will. It's like making a mod with many modules and only making people download it once rather than having to download 10 different modules.
If this can't sway your opinion then I am just going to give up. I work far too hard to try and please everyone, as much as I'd like to. I thought I could save another modder some time and save you some time by giving you easy configurable access to something that already exists.
Also, sorry if this sounds rude or unsettling; I'm not trying to be.
Well fans and followers, I'm happy to say that the beta is going well! The testers are finding it running smoothly with few bugs which is not only great news for me, but great news for those awaiting the mod's arrival. The less bugs they find over more spaced out time, the sooner it will be released to the public. Still, if you'd like to join the beta, spots are open. If you have suggestions for new items or blocks, I am open to them. Last but not least, if you want this mod to reach its full potential and not just be another "could have been," post on this thread, vote in the polls, and give your feedback! I wouldn't be trying to balance development on my own for 7 different mods if you, the users, wouldn't download them! So thank you everyone that follows and appreciates my work.

I was going to, but decided against it since there is already plenty of iron, gold, diamonds, etc that can be found in the chests.

I think I have another idea for how I can do that. I will announce more later.
Again, still time for suggestions and beta sign-ups!
