The latest version of forge for 1.7.10 should be what you are using, if you aren't already. Also, check to make sure you downloaded hippo's AnimationAPI mod off of the original post. This mod needs that to be able to run.
Edit: Also, list any other mods you have installed if any. They may be causing a compatibility issue.
The animation is not working with some mods for some reason, I don't know which and I'm not using Smart Moving atm, but now I will since I can't get either animation to play or eliminate the proper mods to get it to work. Everything is installed which is needed, and only works without all my mods enabled except the required ones for this mod. Not as compatible as expected.
We have a problem, the dude who made the list of supported skins is no longer maintaining his thread, which means the thread is down and all skins have been removed

Not exactly if you're actually using an old skin your animation will be weird but if you got a same animation after installed the mod even changed the skin, it won't help anything.

I was curious. I know you're constantly working on all your mods and I apologize for asking this question. I am using the latest updated version of a macbook pro, and When I have any version of optifine installed along with this mod, the animations don't run. It's just normal minecraft, with optifine of course. Are you currently working on this compatability issue as of now? So sorry!

Animated player doesn't work very well with most anything that changes the player model. The only mod I have used so far that works with it fine, unless my memory is wrong, is BackTools by iChun. I know the text you made orange definitely doesn't agree with Animated Player. If it's possible or convenient for you and if you want to see the animations, removing those should fix the issue. Sorry for my late response by the way.
Any mod that changes the player model itself in any way will not work with Animated Player. They'll conflict, and one of them will win completely. The other won't show up at all. Things like More Player Models and Mo Bends will not work with this mod. If you have any of these mods installed alongside Animated Player, either Animated Player's changes will not render, or those made by the other mod won't. This is limited only to the player itself, and any effects of the mod other than that will still show.
Any mod that adds things to the player model will work, but only to some extent. This varies from mod to mod, and can't be guaranteed to remain in a playable state afterwards. This includes things like iChun's Backtools, or bspkr's Backpack mod. These attach completely separate models to the player, which function independent of what the player looks like or does, and will therefore work to a degree. Mods in this category that will not visually work, on the other hand, are things like MachineMaiden's Modular Powersuits, or Smart Moving. They rely on the Vanilla player model to do what they do, and graphical errors will occur if you try to use them together. While they'll still function otherwise, you won't see the effects that the mod author intended.

Same as mine. I don't know what exactly causing this mod not working properly. What version of forge are you using?
Is there any other mods installed?
It won't let me download because of Norton finding it unsafe and could possibly cause harm. Is there a way to fix this?

More Player Models 2 mod it makes the hat 3d and it adds alot of client mod stuff.
