Sounds like a good idea in general, is 3 seconds the default time for skeletons 1.4.7 and before? I'm a bit lazy to load up the jar and time myself... also does it affect the range that they start to attack you? I'm fine with the last part being unmodified (it is supposed to be a ranged mob, after all), but would still like to know.

It just changes the attack time to about 3 seconds inbetween attacks. The range is the same and they still attack a little faster when you get closer.
Edit: The skeletons now shoot at 3 seconds at all times, the same as 1.4.7.
The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on MediaFire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or MediaFire.

Hey, thanks for doing a mod showcase of my mod! Also, if you can, can you try recommending SkyDoesMinecraft to do a mod showcase of one of my mods? http://www.minecraft...of-random-mods/ Thanks.
*bows* The skeletons was my main reason for not upgrading to 1.5 (tried and they killed me every time !). Thanks so much for this mod!
I agree though they didnt kill me they spawned too often being too hard they were a pain in the butt they just shoot too fast and have too much health for shooting too fast They also are very smart mobs and very quick and htey leave a fu***** arrow that looks like in your face besides that they're almost the most common mob and can even spawn with spiders they're so ing overpowered in this update

Agreed on them being so overpowered. Guess why they kill me is I'm such a noob playing minecraft lol (until recently I usually played on peaceful and if I had to kill skeletons or creepers etc, I'd be in creative (I was a scardy cat lol)) -- now that I'm trying to learn to play it ledgit.. yeah they kill me often lol.
Wait.. you guys think skeletons are harder since 1.5? I think they've been made easier..
Before 1.5 they had annoyingly accurate aim, and would fire you instantly around corners the split milisecond you came into view. I can now run up to a skeleton and kill it before it fires at me once. I wouldn't just say 1.5 made them easier, but I'd say their AI was fixed. Now if only they could fix pigmen hitting you further than their sword goes.

Are you playing single player or on a server? Because I've found that online they do feel much easier/the same. Try starting a world in singleplayer and going against them then. You'll notice the massively frustrating difference.
However, I do agree with the thing about the pigmen...They've become so broken/OP since 1.3 came out.
That aside, great mod! I was really getting sick of skeletons kicking my ass on the first night because they can shoot every 1.5 seconds... This will be a welcome reversion
Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/
