For some reason, when I place the PumpPlus beside the QuarryPlus and it encounters liquid, it will just stop mining and not move or pick up the liquid. I have tried configuring the sides to which it would expel the liquid, set it to what liquid was there, and I tried using both Thermal Expansion fluiducts and Buildcraft liquid pipes. Nothing works. Any suggestions?
I ran into a bug on a Monster server. It happened when it finished a max-size quarry.
I'm not interested in troubleshooting this, because it's not a huge deal, but rofl.
That's 13 million/340 billion billion billion billion, or 340 undecillion MJ.
So I can't seem to get the PumpPlus working with the QuarryPlus - specifically to remove oil. I have it working just fine on water, but when it hits oil the beam just comes to a dead stop. I'm working in creative mode right now and have both the PumpPlus and QuarryPlus with Fortune III. Any idea why this might be happening?
Even after the pump stops, if I delete the oil, it still remains stuck - a situation that is actually worse than the default since you then have to break the Quarry before restarting it.
Are you giving it enough power? Fortune increases the power requirements of both machines. Fortune on the pump causes it to attempt to drain more than just the single block the quarry plus is on. So it's stopping because it's trying to drain a large area and it's slow because it's requiring a large amount of power to do it making it seem like it's not doing anything.
Instead max out the unbreaking enchantment on both the QuarryPlus and the PumpPlus, this significantly reduces the energy requirements. The efficiency enchantment increases the speed of both machines at the cost of requiring more power. Additionally, don't use fortune on the pump, it's generally pointless.
