Hey mDiyo, can you make it so that you can turn off clouds? I dont really like them that much. (Note : I just came from Dire's mod spotlight, so excuse me if this is implemented.)
It feels tedious to get 49 saplings per redwood tree you want to grow, seeing as they aren't as common as normal saplings. I think it would be more reasonable to just have a single sapling grow a single tree to reduce the grinding feel of getting so many saplings. Its more realistic that 1 sapling becomes 1 tree, I don't think this is too easy since the trees take several days to grow anyways, making a redwood forest still takes a good deal of time even if you only need a single sapling per tree, as they are not common and the trees all need days to pop up. Alternately increasing the sapling drop rate would help also although it seems a roundabout way of solving the problem.
mDyo, could you please add a config option to disable the crafting of wheat flour, or maybe make it take use two wheat? I ask because as it stands, this mod conflicts with Chococraft, which uses a similar recipe(1 wheat, shapeless) to craft straw, which is used to make chocobo housing.
I understand if you do not wish to add this, however. Just thought I'd ask.

DreadlordKillz: It may be tedious, but one tree could get you hundreds more if it was one sapling per tree.
This is true, but why is that a bad thing? Trees do not give you any advantage in surviving, they are mostly aesthetic, sure its easier to get wood from a almost infinite source, but if you have a sapling from a redwood, you've already got an practically infinite source of wood. There isn't any issue that causes imbalance in the game with trees growing from a single sapling, however if they do not grow from a single sapling it becomes tedious to create them and tedious usually isn't fun.

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be a disabler for any Clouds in the latest version available. Unless I need to delete my config or something and let it recreate itself.

In comparison to Vanilla, and how large jungle trees work (4 saplings for a large jungle tree), I'd say it fits into place rather well. The amount of wood you can get from a redwood tree is quite incredible and will last you a good amount of time depending on what you're doing. With the amount of leaves each Redwood has on it, acquiring 49 isn't that big a deal if you're using something like an iron hatchet (made in Tinkers' Construct), as they have very quick leaf-clearing abilities. While clearing them by hand would indeed be tedious, some feel that it'd be even more tedious that the single sapling would be so far in comparison to how vanilla might go about it, as its already demonstrated that bigger trees usually need bigger saplings, with the exception of large oaks, which are simply rarer.
It's simply a matter of preference, I suppose. I think asking for him to cut it down would be unrealistic and unfitting personally. You might have better luck asking about it being configurable. Though, I probably wouldn't count on it.
Anyways, if you're using Natura in conjunction with Tinkers' Construct and didn't know about that tid bit, again, you can clear leaves quite quickly with hatchets made Tinkers' Construct style. A full Iron hatchet would be enough to clear leaves at a rate similar to that at which you could clear tall grass with your bare hands. That, and clearing the leaves won't wear on the durability of the hatchet.
This mod is lacking every description possible. Recipes, etc.
What do I do with all the clouds, ash, sulfur, normal, dark., etc. ?
It's rather tedious to create a list of recipes when there's mods that automate that process and let you refer to them in-game. I'd recommend the Not Enough Items mod or CraftGuide. If you have a harder time resisting the temptations of activating cheats in-game or simply don't want all the extra features packed into NEI, then I'd suggest craftguide, as its only feature is to show you crafting recipes and such. Just press G in-game (default control) to open its GUI, and it'll pause the game and let you browse (configurable). It will detect almost any crafting recipe if it's crafted with a standard crafting table, so don't worry about most mods items.
CraftGuide is also simpler to install if you're newer to modding your game.
EDIT: It says it's only for 1.5.1 right now, but it also works fine on 1.5.2.

Relating to some of this stuff, I've written a book that gives details to some of the stuff in Natura. It gives a good amount of info on this mod. Also, what I tend to do with a redwood is turn it into a house because of how big it is.
Also, Do you know if CraftGuide now works on 1.5.2?

Yes, it works fine on 1.5.2. I should have mentioned that on my previous post.

I used to maintain the Minecraft Forums Mod List. However, life has stepped in the way of that. Perhaps later...
I was wondering if you could add a crafting recipe for muffins. Since the mod adds berrys and flour its just screaming to have the ability to make muffins. They don't have to give back alot of hunger I just think it would fun to have muffins in the game.
Not trying to hastle you or nit pick but I couldn't help but notice that some of the new nether features Direwolf20 was showing off in his spotlight on Natura appear to be similar to the Nether Expansion mod. For example the mushroom skins, the sand and etc. I just find it strange since I heard the mod was given over to the Angry Pixel crew to update. Maybe I'm mistaken about my perception of the whole thing though. I have never played the Nether Expansion mod myself, I just noticed similarities from videos and pictures.

What are the requirements for the spawning of Natura Redwood trees? During worldgen, not growth. Or some other way of getting 49 saplings?
I understand if you do not wish to add this, however. Just thought I'd ask.
