Hi : i have a problem on MCPC+ server ! When i put a block like asphalt (concrete so) my client.... crash.... and the server do a lot of error, i kown the problem is the "speedup" of concrete, but i disable this (put 0 in value).... plz >w< !

I'm still considering the idea of chiseling table. I just see no appeal of it. Making it more difficult to build pretty things in minecraft is senseless.
The mod was written and running for an in-house fork of minecraft two or so years ago, so I assure you it's not based on your suggestions.

This is still not what I'm looking for. Forge produces nice log files that have a complete stack trace of actual errors. What you posted is some unrelated server warning and the normal connection reset exception, for server too.

Gonna go try out 1.4.1 to see if it fixes it, but I get the same problem with a crash on SMP with Concrete (which is easily one of the coolest ideas for crafting roads!)
Overall I love the chisel as it is, running back and fourth to a table is something that gets annoying about other things, for just changing aesthetic features I like the tool just the way it is now. :3
I dunno how you feel about it, but a Moon obsidian block is my favorite block by far. IT would be cool if there was a way to make it so there was a glowstone variant to produce light.
How about instead of a stationary table or a magic chisel, we just have a more realistic chisel?
Basically you'd right click with the chisel as you normally do, but instead of putting a block into the gui you're just given a big scrolling list of all the blocks the chisel can make. You then choose, say, a chiseled cobble pattern. Now you simply left-click an already-placed cobble block in the world with the chisel and voila - It becomes the chiseled block you'd previously chosen and the chisel itself loses a bit of durability.
This way you could rough-out a building with basic blocks, then come back with the chisel later and 'fancy it up'.
Loveing this Mod you have made, Been spending DAYS apon Days collecting 32x Textures to use with my Personal Dokucraft Texture pack. Maybe If I can get everyones aproval after i'm finished i'll release it.

Anyway, I uploaded a new version, 1.4.1, that I think is very likely to fix that error.
