What does the mining stone sold by the mining tools guy do?

Also, how do I mine gold and diamond?

To the people who are having trouble with the patch crashing their minecraft: try opening the patch folder and pasting the contents in the jar, not the folder itself. That may or may not be obvious but that kept crashing my game until I figured this out.

This looks awesome! I'm downloading RIGHT NOW! It's mods and posts like this that really keep things going for me in minecraft!

I got a rusty spear from a dead cannibal... but its labeled as 0 dmg and has a chainmail chest texture

Check the image files in your reinc folder

I've found gold and diamond but I can't mine it. I want to know how.
Also, what does the mining stone do?

may the missing textures be with you?
the funny thing is, it's the patch that broke the textures, not the mod itself
also, my rep seems to carry from one save to another.
And could you please tweak the wisp spawning please? I cant get out of the starting area!

I cannot find any Poisonous Spider on the Jungle Island anywhere ! I'm like running around the Jungle 3 minecraft day straight but no Spider and there's a ruin that have a Necklace in it (The one with Poisonous Turtle) but it lead to no where. Please help at least give me a hint. E.g. Direction (South, North from the Jungle village)

I've found some on the south of this island.

What for is this lake?

By the way, water walking boots have wrong texture.

Did someone find the secret passage in the Desert Town?

When I installed the patch the mobs and the items did not have textures.
