so... i did everything and it loads and has the right start up screen, i have the world in place, i go to that, then it come up, i see the correct display for the mod, (helth and mana in the corner ect) and it says saving chunks and just black screens...
This mod is suprisingly bug-free for being in beta!
A few things I've noticed, minor spelling and grammatical errors, I'll try to keep note of them as I finish the mod with all 4 classes, ;P
For example, Telescope doesn't have a K in it.
Overall very good english for a few german guys!
In the ice caves there are plenty of two-block deep holes, which people can't jump out of. Those will have to be fixed for the final release!
The assassin is the only class I have played so far, and I think he needs to be tweaked a bit, I'm thinking extreme speed, High damage, and low defense. When I think of assassin, I imagine someone who will run in, Kill you with one fatal swing, then run; but if you catch him, it's game over. The invisibility skill doesn't seem to work right now....(Or I'm retarted....)

Guys , im not entirely sure , but i think that the assassin's lvl 10 , lvl 20 , lvl 30 , lvl 40 and maybe lvl 50 skills are not working
I just keep pressing the button and nothing happens ...i have already 30 mana ( just to make sure it's not a mana problem)

I had the same issue, while I did have a fresh minecraft.jar, I had other folder and files in my .minecraft, from modloader, minecraft forge, and TooManyItems, and that seemed to interfere with the mod.
Try deleting your WHOLE .minecraft ( AFTER YOU BACK UP ALL WORLDS AND SCREENSHOTS!!! )

Sorry if I didn't notice it, but I am confused of what version of Minecraft this is for. I read the OP several times through. I have updated to Minecraft 1.5.1 currently, and am unsure whether this is compatible with the current version of 1.5.1. Don't call me an "idiot" just because it say 1.5 Support, in the post name, I would just like a simple reply.
Does anyone know how to install this correctly with MultiMC? I followed all of their directions, and I made sure that only the mod part of the download went into the jar. Nothing happens, though.
1. Assassin's invisibility doesn't work. If it does, please explain how.
2. Jungle's pretty much empty so I'm still looking for those poisons due to snakes and other aggressive mobs are rare.
3. Jungle creeper's skin is white.
I AM STUCK. I cant collect the taxes from miller, the hunter, the woodcutter, or the homeless guy! I right click on them and they dont do anything at all. HELP, this has been going on for 2 hours already -.-"
I've got a whole bunch of elite zombies spawning outside town while still level 1. Is this supposed to happen? Because they use up my wood sword real fast. Also I cannot do the miller and hunter quests because they are mad at me, or the gardner quest because there are no skeletons.

The optional Missions were just for testing.. Only 2 of them work atm and are pretty bugged :/... And mobs which are 4 or more levels higher than yours have only a spawn rate of 15%

You can't get reputation atm its supposed to be in optional quests, however they're not really implemented yet.

Don't you realize that, because the official latest version of the actual mod by the original author was for 1.3.2, this is not a "reincarnation", but a downgrade? If you're going to "reincarnate" a dead mod and add support for the latest version of Minecraft, at least make the mod itself have support for that version, instead of having it downgrade your jar.

i love the mod i really do!!! but what i think personally would be even cooler since its for 1.2.5 you could add in the battlegear mod making it really an awesome rpg mod to play! i have it installed now and it makes it a lot cooler and i have not experienced any bugs with it either.

You don't have to downgrade. You can install the mod 1.5.1 and everything works (it downgrades your jar automatically)
