It was my favorite mod... But now it needs Forge so I can't play anymore with all these crashs.
Can you please make a modloader version? It would be very appreciated.
I really love this mod! However I'm quite depressed by the fact that it's been switched to forge instead of modloader. I really really want to use modloader, it's so much simpler, and less buggy in general, not to mention less heavy.
Please release another update that's modloader based. If necessary I'll use forge, but I really don't want to. Thank you so much for all your wonderful work on this mod.
With the new MC update, and your last two updates I get this weird message in the background when using NEI and getting the recipe for something. Following is a screenshot...
I have already changed the key for your mod to a different key so as not to interfere with NEI's recipe so it isn't that. Not sure what to make of it though.
Just wait for OptiFine being compatible with Forge again! OptiFIne is in Preview for 1.5, so just wait for Forge compaitbility!
I have no interest in using Forge, whatsoever. I have many other mods that use ModLoader and/or LightLoader, As an administrator, I support a small set of users for a server, and provide a pre-created .jar for them to use, with server-approved mods pre-installed. This is distributed as a single .jar.
I have no interest in having them download and place additional files in their mods folder, or anything of the sort. I require the mod to continue to support ModLoader. Please provide a class that allows us to optionally use ModLoader, if that is our configuration.
I agree with everyone else that's protesting, while I am truly grateful that you are taking over and updating this mod as needed, I cannot use it without Modloader compatibility. I've always had terrible luck with forge, it's always never worked for me, or was no compatible with many of my other essential mods (Named OptiFine). Please add Modloader compatibilty, I do really like this mod, but I, like many others, cannot use it without Modloader compatibility.
Love the mod. I can go either way on the forge vs modloader issue. I'm using modloader at the moment because some of the mods I prefer aren't forge compatible yet. *cough*optifine*cough*. I could see an argument for both Forge and Modloader versions.
In the long run though, I'm fine with it being for Forge, just missing the mod while I wait.
Doesn't work for me. I installed both latest versions of forge and inventory tweaks.
Uninstalled them though, people is been saying Forge is not worth installing...
I guess I will be back to self-organizing!
Can't say that I understand why they say that about Forge honestly. I use both Forge and Modloader, depending on my playing needs at the time. I prefer Forge, but I've got nothing at all against Modloader. Forge has never given me any problems, or slowed my computer or lagged me in any reasonable sense that I've been able to tell.
I could see the benefits of having both Forge and Modloader versions, or perhaps making it compatible with both.
I didn't have any problems getting the mod working in Forge though, so I'm not exactly sure what you might be doing wrong.
Everytime I download inv tweaks the game crashes at the loading screen. I don't know what's wrong. When I load the game up with forge, it works fine, but then I add inv tweaks and it crashes. This is why I prefered modloader.

Is there a way for you to make it ModLoader compatible again because forge won't let cracked players like my siblings play on my LAN server when we want to play survival together.
Hmm all I did was opening minecraft.jar and drag the Forge files inside it and for the tweaks i put the tweaks.jar inside mod folder.
That was what I saw in the instructions... Don't know if I actually did something wrong
And well, I understand Forge works for you and for some people, but for the majority doesn't
That's your problem right there. Never drag and drop mod files into the main jar file. It will almost always cause Minecraft to crash out. Try to install Forge in the mods folder instead and see if that fixes it.
Open your minecraft.jar file and the universal zip file. Drop the contents of the zip file into minecraft.jar then delete the files in META-INF which begin with MOJANG.
If using a mod manager, place the forge zip under the jarmods section.
I never had to do that and it works fine for me. Try to place it under the mods folder in .minecraft and see if it works. For me I have a modpack folder under MagicLauncher with sub-folders and all the mods I use plus Forge and it all works without a issue.
Just as a note, some of the default potions (non-mod (figured I'd specify)) are missing from the tree file and don't get sorted properly. I deal with a lot of potions, so I noticed it when a number of them weren't sorted into the potion groupings. While not a world ending, or major bug type thing, it would be nice to see the potions added by default, so that they don't have to be added by hand.
Why is everyone switching to forge?!?! I hate it so much, it's so incompatible even with the mods that needs it to run! Can someone please explain why forge is taking over everything?!?! Well, I'm not using this mod again untill there's a mod loader version. FORGE!
Can you please make a modloader version? It would be very appreciated.
Do I need to do something special to extract these files and incorporate them into my own .jar?
Agreed

MAKE IT COMPATIBLE WITH MOD LOOADER!!
Forge does nothing but F*** up on me and slows my minecraft down.
I have always used Inv Tweeks and now it isn't compatible I can't use it.
Please make a .zip version for us whom use modloader or some way to make the .jar version work with it.
Will be much appreciated
