Great mod. I made this big-ass zombie/mob siege with custom spawners on a village and it was fun! The villagers were all "LAST STAND!!!!!" sort of fighting.
Sadly I won't use this until something gets done about the utility mob problems. My iron and snow golems started a massacre in my player-made village since they were attacking and literally chasing the villagers.
can you make it so it spawns with any armor??
and make them kill all hostile mobs from other mods
yea, having that problem with thaumcraft... i have a huge problem with my crucible and it was spawning giant angry zombies and the villagers werent doing anything and died

Every time I try to live near a village, in time they all die from the zombies. I am sick of living near an empty village, so I am going to try this mod out. It sounds awesome!

Hey....may I suggest in the future maybe making the mod so you can simply put it in the mods folder to run it, instead of a direct jar feed? Just makes it easier to install. Thanks!
Hey, just tested it. But why are they identified as hostiles? On Rei's minimap they show as red, and you can't sleep near them anymore. What's the deal? They should be neutral, not hostile. They're not bandits.
Other than that, it works great. Any chance that can be fixed in the future though?
Um....something weird happened. I was playing my game with the new 'defensive' villagers, and building my underground mine kingdom that was nearby and underneath of them.
Well, after a couple days, I went up to visit them. Guess what I found? No one! Just like the squid words, they all died, too. The whole point I got defensive villagers was so they can stay alive. How could they have died?? Do they not fight off monsters if one gets in their home? Could they have killed themselves off? Could they have de-spawned since they're for some reason considered hostile??
Dude, do it for the community, we love this mod, so please on your free time update it or use MCP. I love this mod and it would go great with my modded survival (1.6.2)
There will very likely be not a 1.7.10 version, it says 'DISCONTINUED' in caps in the title. Hopefully somebody can remake this mod for 1.7.10 and above for people who want to use this mod! Also, you bumped this topic, it didn't have any replies in it for about a year.

You can use Minecraft Comes Alive and set it to Lite when you start a world, that will have a similar effect(except only certain villagers will fight back rather than all of them).

I'm not exactly happy over what had happened.
That's the proper way to ask people about mod updates, not "Duyuuurg 1.6.2 updat? pweees"
