ok so i am a new modder trying to make a mod but i am kind of stuck on what to make the mod ,and on a tangent i now that the title is exajerate but i need people to see this but i digress,i would like to get some ideas from the minecraft public and what they want and what mod they would like to see as mods go. and what the mod should have in it thank you for your time and thanks for any segjustions or ideas. and please dont hound me on where to put it ok to be honest i really dont care i have had many people tell me put it there no put it here and ya i dont care where to put it i just want an awnswer.
First make it a forge mod cuz nobody wants to use modloader ones. Secondly think of something you'd like to do in vanilla and make it possible on a very large scale, or just think of something thats more difficult to do than it should be and add an item that will make it easier.
Personally Id like to see an archeology/zoo mod where you dig up fossils and use DNA splicing to spawn creatures from other mods like Mocreatures so I dont have the stupid noisy things running around everywhere, only in the zoo I build. A zoo which would be completely redundant if the creatures spawned too frequently in the overworld like they do now.
Maybe add a buildcraft/flans mod crossover so vehicles run on fuel like they should.

there's already a mod like that where you get to incubate and cultivate dinosaurs and mammoths and stuff. its the fossil archeology mod. personally id like to see someone either make the enchanting in mc research based or the shops be proper shops
Another tech mod wouldn't hurt. I love them, and as long as they run smoothly with all the major ones (so FTB at this point) then, sky's the limit. I know people may say tech mods are getting redundant, but I would play any tech mod that catches my eye! --Don't mind the signature, I have one more error to iron out before I release my mod to public (just getting the pulverizer recipe in thermal expansion to work)
ok thanks for the wonderful ideas guys i really apreciate it its nice to see what the minecraft comunity likes that way i dont create a mod that people are just like its ok .i want to make a mod inprove gameplay of minecraft and make the game even more enjoyable. thank you for your time i will try and make something or things like what you mentioned because i am sure you guys that many people also would like to see thing like what you have said so thanks for the ideas and be on the watch for the mods i make thanks and have a great day
