for the body it has to be right in the middle, but nice work with the models overall!

My Mod http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/wip-mods/2487041-mythical-mobs-mod-adding-mythical-and-enchanting#c2 help is needed!
check out my models! http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/mods-discussion/2420631-gojimans-new-model-thread
So wait, does every joint in the body have to be in the central plane, or just the ones in the tail?
And thanks.

me too.
Since it's thought (by some scientists anyway) that this fish may have had primitive "lungs", would it be possible to make it last a bit longer than other sea creatures when on land? That is to say, a longer period of time before it starts taking suffocation damage?
Raw and cooked Bothriolepis respectively would restore a similar amount of hunger to raw/cooked fish.
Also, placoderm plating (obtained by either mining it from fossil blocks, or killing live placoderms) could be made into special armour. It would be somewhere between leather and iron in terms of durability.

Thanks.
And here's another one:

I like to think of Gigantopithecus as passive, but nice ideas!
Thanks.
Well, my logic here is that a real-life ape will fight back if attacked or angered.
Perhaps the babies could be passive, and the adults neutral?
By the way, any idea how I get accepted into the development team?

Wait are you a modeler for the mod, because I didn't know they needed any. Anyway, cool models

You should probably make a model page.
May the bringer of peace be with you.
If you insist on addressing me by name just say Adsper. It's annoying when people say my full out username. "Oh hey AdswordTheBaws54763721" ~Mount and Blade
Well I'd very much like to be a modeller, although at present I don't think I'm any sort of official member yet.
And thanks. There's more where that came from.
Hyaenodon:
My ideas for this beast:
The Hyaenodon can grow to roughly twice the size and strength/HP of a Minecraft wolf, and will behave very similarly to them. He's not a fussy eater, and can be tamed and healed with any meat. Wild Hyaenodons will attack large farm animals (pigs, sheep, horses and cattle, though they don't bother with chickens), as well as quaggas and medium-sized to large-ish extinct mammalian herbivores. The wild ones don't attack dodos, terror birds or dinosaurs, however.
The Hyaenodon is partly nocturnal/crepuscular, meaning his eyes glow at low light levels much like a spider's, simulating the eyeshine effect of the retinas in modern nocturnal creatures. (The Reptile Mod did this with their crocodiles, so it should be possible to replicate it here too)
Unlike wolves however, Hyaenodons will only breed if fed meat from extinct mammals. The idea is that the familiar taste makes them confident enough to go into heat.

This Hyaenodon is too much like a real hyena...
Hmm... okay, I can tweak the model. What would you say needs fixing?

Just make everything except the tail bulkier.
Wow, I really suggest you make a model page because you just keep giving them out! Anyways I don't think 4f needs any modelers but I don't know, and about the Hyaenodon I think the model could use some work and the skin should look more like a Hyaenodon and not like a Hyena, like PC said.

you keep cranking them out! What tutorial did you use?
Yep.
These two tutorials (as well as Gojiman's advice) were a big help:
http://dragonith.deviantart.com/art/Techne-Tutorial-Texturing-I-264650065
http://dragonith.deviantart.com/art/Techne-Tutorial-Texturing-II-264719834
Several years of playing Spore also helped, as Techne is very similar to the building editor.
Also, I've made some edits to the Hyaenodon. He's now a bit chunkier, and hopefully less hyena-like (particularly around the face).
