It should be compatible with 1.6. In fact, many mods that worked with 1.5.1 *should* work with 1.6. Although it should work, I haven't tested it yet, so let me know.
I think this mod is awesome. Can not wait to get it on my 1.6.1 server. I use this as an easy method to "move" from one area to another, it looks great, and works like a charm. Keep up the great work.
Hm, If I may be so bold... I got the same issue as Enderguy with 1.6.1. The game crashes when I try to open my inventory with this mod in the mod folder. Removing it "fixes" the issue.

I screwed up the release you downloaded, but if it had been good, it wouldn't work in 1.6.2.

i have a good suggestion to you since im needing that,what about a new machine,its called a "loader"it is a 4-legs machine that uses especials chips to locate boxes and as waypoints,this works this way,i craft a box chip lets say,name is "" and a aproximated location of it,lets say sector 3,so the player to tel the loader it has to specify that the box
is in certain area,that is achieved by placing a storage marker chip,and obviously the waypoints chips work as a indicator,so if the loader wants to go to sector 3,it has the way marked,so the player can manipulate it to automate things,and also you should add more types of boxes,like a big box,able to store 6 cardboard boxes,these boxes cannot be moved by the player,but by the loader yes,another crate can be a normal wooden crate,it hols 4 cardboard boxes,can be moved only with a small iron platform,and this can be moved by the player,and lastly i suggest the
the tnt box (with explosive sign and the iron crate,capable of storing a few things.im gonna see if i can write later,im in a hurry
Crap I think I left some items in a box on my world before I updated... I should have made sure all my items were in vanilla chests first. I guess I just have to wait for 1.6.2 version
Love the mod, but it conflicts with the IronChests mod, giving an error about [Xsize] in BlockContainer.

Many 1.5 mods actually work with 1.6. If you look up a few post, you'll see that I asked them to try Boxes on 1.6.
