Does this mod work on the newest release of Minecraft? I've been trying to get it to work, but am kind of new with the whole zipping files and such. I have 7-Zip but am not familiar at all.
I got the 4space pack for this in 1.6.4. But I can't seem to get it to work with Galactic Craft 2. it comes as a rar file, and I run Minecraft on mac. The version of Galactic Craft that I have is 1.6.4-2.0.11.978. When I load up Minecraft with 4Space it says that there are duplicate files. All I'm trying to do is get some more planets on there. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
This is a base on Mars that I started to build before to be released. It was made entirely on the Overworld, and the terrain around the base was converted to reproduce an actual martian landscape.
I removed all liquid water and freeze all underground water pools, replaced grass with sand and coal with iron, removed all trees and living things and did other shenanigans.
The base itself is pretty cool and completely furbished. Focused on detail rather than size. The equipments and machines are working. Next to the base is a village with Alien Villages and a pyramid with loot waiting for you.
I will release this in the next days after I have all set and have written credits, how to install and technical things, so stay tuned.
Is there a way to adjust generation of ores? I'm running TC, Galacticraft and Electricraft+Reactorcraft and all 3 generate tin, copper and aluminum and it's throwing the ore ratios completely off. Vanilla ores are now significantly reduced and these 3 are everywhere. I see in config a way to turn the generation off but is there a way to actually control the ratios?
edit: Or as a feature, would it be possible to specify dimension in which these ores generate instead? That way I could separate ore generation by dimensions and avoid mod interactions.
I really want to see a portal gun mod addon that when you make a moon portal it leads to the galacticraft moon dimension and everything sucked into it winds up on the moon, would be pretty cool in my opinion!
Whenever I try to work this mod with Universal electricity, Calclavia core, and ICMB it says I can't download basic components.
Download them manually. Try once more, it will generate a forge log after failing. Open the forge log, search the basic components download links that game refuses to use. Copy and paste the links in your address bar of your browser, it will download the files, save them in the "mods/1.6.4" folder. Run the game again.
This mod and Better Dungeons mod is conflicting with each other. PLEASE FIX THIS SOON!
what do you mean by 'conflicting'? If it's an id conflict (biome id, block id, item id) you can fix that yourself in the configs. If it's some other problem, it won't be possible to fix without more detail on the specifics.

I was re-watching the really old yogscast review that they did on this mod, and I noticed a few things. First of all, can you add a config options for the old slow mo arrows? (I know they aren't realistic, but they are cool.) Only if it's not too much trouble, I don't know what kind of changes you have made to the low g physics. Also, I couldn't help but notice the distinct lack of crackers. Can you add crackers to the mod? It would be a good reference AND it makes more sense because astronauts do eat a lot of crackers because you don't need to freeze dry them. They would just be smelting one wheat, and they would just be cookies with the texture changed to remove the chocolate chips. Also, have you started work on the next planet yet? If not, I would recommend venus, as it is the planet on the other side of the earth (so it would be closer than any other planet besides the moon and possibly mars). You could make the landscape a cracked brownish red colored stone and populated by lava lakes. The resource to get there would be raw silica, which could be smelted into fused quartz (which looks like very clear glass). This is perfect because silica is common on venus IRL, is heated to make fused quartz IRL, and fused quartz has high heat and chemical resistance IRL, making it good for surviving atmospheric conditions on certain planets, and is often used to make lenses on satellites IRL.

and also on one those videos from yogcast some reason they had lots of planets for some reason but some didn't work why did they have lots of planets?

401397 and Galacticraft build 978.Ic2 Experimental builds 398 and up are for Minecraft 1.7.2. For 1.6.4, you'll want to use Ic2 Experimental 397 and below.
