I can't craft certain items, even though I have the materials, I am putting the items in the right places, and I have the newest update. I even used NEI to see if I was doing them wrong, but it said that the items were uncraftable. Help?
Then extract the png with a zip extractor (example: 7zip). But don't forget to read the Terms & Conditions to know what you are allowed to do with resources.

You need to tell which items are uncraftable, or the developer will not be able to spot in the source code what is wrong. Each item is a piece of code amid hundreds of source files.

Looking forward to seeing more.
Two suggestions on the off chance you have some free time:
The electrolytic separator from Mekanism would be an ideal method of getting oxygen for people who don't want to mess around with leaves.
Ore generation seems to be very limited at the moment. Linking it to the Forge Ore Dictionary might help.
And last but not least, a bug report: even with other mods' features disabled in config, Ars Magica mage towers appear on the Moon. Funny, but not what I was expecting to happen.
I need a bit of help. How do i refuel a ship after I have landed on the moon? Do I need to bring a space fuel loader with with me and some power? Or can I just use that canister that is given to me some how?
I really need help, I install this, then it says it's not compatible with 1.5.2
What do I do?
Go to the where you downloaded the file which you should be able to get to by: hitting the link on the front page, hitting the blue button that says galacticraft, hitting the green download button, and scrolling to the bottom of the page where it lists all released versions. The version for 1.5.2 (#262) is still in development which might be why it's not being pushed on you.
I have been following this mod when micdoodle8 was on his old blog. I just want to say that I think this is and amazing mod and have loved the improvements.
This mod sounds awesome, and even more so once planets are added. I gave it a quick whirl on a test load, just mainly to see if it worked, and I do have one suggestion. It looks like this mod uses 15 entity ids, could you possibly switch to using mod-specific ids in a future update as opposed to global? It would help those of us with large modded-out games to squeeze it in
Hi, can you fix support with MCPC PLUS + (http://ci.md-5.net/job/MCPC-Plus/480/), because there are changes with the new structure of the worlds folders and when i launch the space ship the server crashes.
Hi all, hoping someone might be able to tell me where I'm going wrong in getting GC running on my SMP server.
I've tried 1.5.1 stable and 1.5.2 dev builds so far (configurations/versions listed below) and no matter what I do, I always seem to be missing some Basic Components items in creative inventory. I can craft some items eg. Steel Dust/Ingots but other recipes eg. copper wire don't work. Obviously this limits the ability to craft and use the TE/GC components in Survival, which his how my mate and I would prefer to play it. I thought that Thermal Expansion already contained all the necessary Basic Components items/recipes, but it doesn't seem to be working that way for me.
In singleplayer I can get everything working fine (with the Basic Components items showing up on the Materials inventory page and all the TE/GC stuff working) but only if I drop TE out of my client's mods folder, start GC using the "Load Basic Components" option, then put TE back in.
The client will then crash with an internal server error when trying to craft any basic components recipes in multiplayer, since there doesn't seem to be a way to force GC server to load Basic Components as per the client (and I'm not sure what files need to be hacked into the .jar to make it work like that). I've tried loading the 1.5.1 stable build of Basic Components separately on client/server, and nothing shows up on the 'Basic Components' inventory page (although steel and copper items render ok and some recipes work as I noted earlier). 'Load Basic Components Recipes' and 'Load Thermal Expansion Recipes' are both set to true in the GC config file.
Installation procedure and file versions follow:
- Deleted META-INF from clean 1.5.1 minecraft.jar / minecraft_server.jar
- Installed minecraftforge-universal-1.5.1-7.7.2.682 on client and server, run and tested OK
- Installed Player-API-1.5.1 (server) and Player-API-Render-1.5.1 (client), run and tested OK
- Copied CoFHCore-1.5.1.5.jar and Galacticraft-1.5.1-a0.1.34.186.jar to ./coremods for client/server
- Copied BasicComponents_v1.3.2.73.jar and ThermalExpansion-2.4.1.0.jar to ./mods for client/server
Tried the same again with the 1.5.2 versions (except Basic Components which doesn't have a 1.5.2 version). Still no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been to the moon in singleplayer, really want to get it working in SMP! Cheers.
I was of the understanding that the 1.5.2 UE download on that page is simply the API framework, and as of 1.5.2 any UE mod pack is required to include Basic Components, which Galacticraft supports (but apparently only via the client front-end) but Thermal Expansion does not. Or at least, Thermal Expansion/COFHCore isn't loading/recognising Basic Components on my system for some reason.

What are the other mods required for the Galacticraft Core mod? I mistakenly clicked "do not show me again," I know about UE, but Basic Components for 1.5.2 isn't released yet.
It's [jar file]\micdoodle8\mods\galacticraft\core\client\gui\hud.png.
Then extract the png with a zip extractor (example: 7zip). But don't forget to read the Terms & Conditions to know what you are allowed to do with resources.

Thanks for considering!
yes it does
also, please give information on any issues you are having, rather than 'doesnt work' posts.

Thanks though.

This mod is now in my top 3!
I couldn't help but to make a review for the mod ;D
