I like the new fuel system and I'm glad that world reset bug got fixed so quickly!
Is aluminum on the moon supposed to drop 2?
Also, not sure why but the entire underneath the dirt on the moon is composed completely of alluminum now, i entered the custom ID's I had for it too. Is there a way I can just straight up regen the moon? I'd prefer to do that as I don't really have anything on the moon lol Nvm, changed the moon ID and it regened, aluminum is gone now lol.
Edit: Using 0.0.11 and it doesn't seem to have fixed the moon block names? or maybe my moon is just bugged and using unused/wip stuff?
Pics:
Edit2: Seems to be doing that with all the moon blocks names.
Oh whoops, I forgot to overwrite the old language file with the new one. Fix coming in 0.0.12.
Is the world resetting fixed? I didn't directly patch that, but I changed a lot so I could have accidentally fixed it
In other words I have a question, does this mod use the ore and/or liquid dictionary? I would really rather use buildcraft oil, as I already have that in my world.
Not atm, but might be in 0.0.12, if not, then soon for sure.
Yep, I can even place it back down and it will still drop 2, essentially giving infinite moon aluminium, fortune even affects it sometimes making it drop 3. Tested all the other moon stuff and other blocks it's just moon aluminium that does it.
wow , this mod is really impressive !
These lots of details amazes me !
An idea: you need to add some selenites mobs like those described in the H.G Wells novel : the first men on moon.
And a selenite villages etc...
And why not, on the another planets, some other mods which are endemic too in the future...
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Minecraft without Thaumcraft is like a pizza without cheese, tasteless !!!
I have yet to go to the Moon, but this seems to be an outstanding mod. Hope there's much to do [on the Moon] when I get there. I was able to get the ores to gen in my skyblock world by building land bridges, so that suggests you can use this mod on previously created worlds...just have to visit/mine in unloaded chunks. On that topic, since you changed the rocket fuel materials, I'm assuming I'll need to visit even more unloaded chunks now?
Warning to survival players tho...the material requirements to legitly go offworld are not to be taken lightly.
Micdoodle, I have some amazing ideas! I have 3, and its pretty cool!
1. You should have weather on planets, such as thermal storms.
2. You should have specials ores only found on certain planets, or certain ores should be easier to get on one planet than the over world, making going to lets say, mars, worth it because lets say, you get more iron there than usual.
3. You should make planets have certain properties, besides gravity and life. For example, on one planet there is a magnetic field, or on one, the sun goes around night and day every 4 minutes, while on another, ever 60 minutes!
I installed forge 6.0.0 render player API when i placed the galacticraft.zip insto the mods folder i starrted up minecraft but it sayd that it cant find forge 6.0.0 plz help me
you must use forge 6.6.0this mod has bugs leaves despawn on the moon and sometimes you can't get back to earth or to the moon
Sweet, I just noticed that there's an API for this, I may add my own planet with compatibility with mine(Cupcakes) and also your mod when I get a bit more experienced.
Edit: Nice, you got the yogscast to see this(Or someone did) Prepare to go from 100 or so reply's to 1000 in little time.
When you go on the space map it doesn't let me zoom in. Can you make it so you can use some key on the keyboard but still have the mouse wheel option as well for those who like it and it does not glitch. Oh and get ready for lots of people to download this mod
Mod looks great. Was motivated to try and get it working in a big modpack. ID conflicts were easy, but I'm getting an odd effect. The moon is made entirely of filled cauldrons. Not any mod block, just vanilla MC cauldron. Probably can't help w this since it's a bazillion mods that could be conflicting, just wondering if you had any ideas. Anyway, thanks for the awesome mod. If you need texture-work I'd be happy to help out of gratitude for this mod
EDIT: Adjusted the block ID again, and now it's mossy cobble. Can't quite figure out the relation between the blocks its genning the moon with and the actual block ID I'm setting it to.
EDIT2: Okay got it working. Using very large block IDs freaked it out for whatever reason. 600ish was cauldrons (even though cauldrons are 118). Then 3000ish was mossy cobble. Then 4000ish was "mushroom farm" from forestry mod, lol (even though that block is id 1130ish). The IDs that finally worked for me were the unused 174 and 175, just in case anyone else has the same issue.
EDIT3: Was thinking, and it probably just has to be a number less than 512.
