I love astronomy, I was going to do a mod like this myself, but I didn't.
I have some ideas you can try to fit in if you want.
For example, instead of planets, there's another "overworld" you can go to, which is just space, you can travel to galaxies, which is like a mid-overworld, and from there you can find planets and stars and black holes and wormholes and nebulae and stuff.
Also, a Constellation Maker, which will create beams between stars to form a constellation on a stargazing map, which is basically a 3D map of space.
Also, a diamond spacesuit, which will let you survive on stars, gas planets, black holes, nebulae, or supernovas.
Those were some things I was going to add on my mod, unfortunately it wasn't completed, so I just wanted to see if some of these ideas that I would love to see in Minecraft could be added.

To the creator of this mod would this mod be comparable with my FTB server and will it be safe to update it in the future without any world corruption. If no then I will add this mod to my server when its fully released. please reply.

Plze add plain space with asteriods I want to make space station in plain outer space so plze add it not saying to take stuff out just add it

What if you use your spaceship at daytime you have a random chance to go to a random planet. But at night you can see the planets better so you just go to the one you want.

Love the mod man! I've been having one problem though, whenever I exit my game or leave the moon and come back the entire moon reloads wiping anything that I've done there. Love to see more planets as well!

I love the mod, really good. When you throw items on the ground on the moon, the lack of gravity should effect it, just an idea,
