If you hate the idea of the mod and wish it never existed, just simply don't download and ignore the topic, your hate posts are just simply pointlessly bumping it for more people to notice.
@Damoniy
Ran into a bug in creative mode, I was playing with the thunder sword and then I had the idea to see what would happen if I hit an angel creeper with lightning, the end result was a crash.
Also a few suggestions for the front page
1)Add a description of each mob. (I've been playing around with the mod, though I have no idea what does what at all. right clicking a spider with a cutie makes hearts appear, but nothing else, and right clicking a flying pig lets you sit on it and somewhat control it, but it always drifts back to where you mounted it. Other than those discoveries, I'm still lost)
2)Update the pictures for the recipes (The sprites are not only different from the current version, but some of the recipes were also removed/changed)
3) Add a FAQ. (This will not only cut down on "same question posts" spam, but it'd also clear some things up)
As for the mod itself
I like how it is so far, but the main issues I have with it are
Lack of tree types (I've only seen 1 type of tree so far in game, and I'm assuming from the screenshots there's a 2nd type, but other than that, the whole place just looks the same
Lack of any noticeable defining features/landmarks (The place barely has anything really to help you remember where you are and where the portal back is,the nether also suffers from this, though that's due to the underground cavernous nature of the place. Adding biomes in the dimension might spice things up and make things more easy to memorize)
And lastly, like others said, a lack of any hostile mobs. Sure it makes some sense that it's supposed to be heaven and all where all is peaceful, but there has to be some kind of chaos. A good idea is to maby add a mob type, sort of like guardians, that attack you due to the fact that you shouldn't really be there. You're not dead, and depending on the player, certainly don't deserve to be there. *killing innocent villagers, hording diamonds and gold, playing around with infernal forces, etc.*

I like it and I'm always trying to improve.
I read the good comments, to improve based on the opnion of people.
Anything to help. I also had a few more ideas before I went to bed
The portal, as people keep pointing out, it too similar to the aether portal, maby quartz blocks are more appropriate, not only their white color contrasts from the black of the nether portal, you also still have to have access to the nether to get to the ether (extra points if you can make the portal from a mix of different types of quartz like say, if I made a portal frame with a quartz bottom, column blocks on the sides, and chiseled blocks on the top)
as I said earlier about the trees, there's not that many types, an idea for one is a tree that has a rare chance of dropping golden apples. Speaking of trees, the ones that are in right now currently don't drop any saplings and the leaves break WAY too easily and don't decay. Lowering the drop rate of the cuties slightly from the white wood trees could also stand to be done due to the fact that every leaf you break drops one.
Add mob drops. From the way things look, the current mobs are like the pig zombies of the Ether. But at the moment, they don't drop anything. Giving the angel creepers the ability to drop gunpowder like a normal one, and a rare chance of dropping something special, like its halo for example, and the ether spiders could probably drop something rare along with the normal spider drops.Or even drop a special type of string that can be used for something for the mod.
More structures, As it is now, I'm seeing nothing but the same floating islands, they're great for scenery but they're all the same, maby add a mix of different islands, some big, some small, some with caves, some with a waterfall. The overworld has desert temples, jungle temples, monster dungeons, villages, and strongholds, and the nether has the fortress, there's simply not enough stuff around. Also while not technically a structure, still needs to be adressed. There are no cave systems at all. looking into the ground with the observer shows nothing but blue sky, no underground tunnels, no water springs, just solid rock and ore.
More enchantments, there are enchantments that deal extra damage to certain mob types. Smite with undead, bane of arthropods with spiders, there's even a mod that has enchantments that deal extra damage to endermen and creepers. Maby add an angelic mob type to the Ether mobs and have a special dark enchantment that deals extra damage to them
Using Greek mythology could also be of some inspiration for ideas due to the nature of the place (Olympian grass, Atlas)
there are also still a few missing textures. Dante is solid white with "missing texture" written on him, there's is also a block that's labeled "wood" that also has this issue. Also, not sure if this is a bug or not, but the spiders make creeper sounds when you hit them.
iem its a cool mod but i dont like it sorry its just not fun also its like its a copy of aether and you need to make a another to models to the mobs sorry but i dont like it
This is not the Aether....nor is it supposed to be...if it had ANY of the things that the aether mod had it would be copying. Honestly this mod is better because it's compatible with opifine.
Says the person who only joined the site a few months ago.
If this mod DOESN'T have all those things then it can't be ripping it off, can it. Think about that.
Nobody says there has to be one mod for every idea. Otherwise there would only be one ore mod, one extra tools mod, one biome mod, one dimension mod etc etc. Variety is great as it gives users a choice. You like the Aether mod? Great, go away and use it. Others might prefer this one. There's nothing wrong with either of them.
If you really agree with that you should stop playing Minecraft right now. It's well knowm that Minecraft isn't the original version of the idea, just the most successful and most improved. In fact you should switch of your computer as well and pack it up because that's a copy. Same goes for your TV and just about about everything else you own.
Read the relevant part of my reply above. Variations on an idea are one of the big strong points of a modding community and they help it to grow. The authour of this mod is not copying code. textures or anything that he hasn't created himself (outside of Minecraft bits).
