I really hope that the single line text boxes on the big book can be made just a little bit longer. Hate being cut off mid-word when making detailed sentences. Either that or making a Word-like editing area, that allows for both text wrapping and other kinds of formatting.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
Is there some way to disable named mobs automatically sitting in chairs and getting stuck there. A cow I had named got loose and wandered into the house and got stuck. I removed the chair and the table, still stuck. Couldn't even kill her. Someone tipped me off that I could get the cow to move using a lead. And that's fine, but I now can't use any chairs because my tamed wolf gets stuck in one every time I enter the house.
I read up on the Bibliocraft webpage and was shocked to find that the named mobs sitting in chairs was part of the design, but it can't be working as intended.
I didn't see anything obvious in the config, though :(.

It is by design as far as I know. There isn't a way to disable it that I am aware of.
I've run into the same problem with Little Maids. It worked fine in 1.7.10 (although dang, do Little Maids like Bibliocraft chairs), but in 1.10.2 they get stuck standing IN the chair instead of sitting on it. (And every time they step "into" the chair, it causes a client-side crash anywhere within about a 40-block radius.)
I just release and update. BiblioCraft is updated to v2.4.4 for Minecraft v1.12.2. I've fixed about a half dozen crashes that kept coming up. Some of them had me stumped for a long time, but I had a burst of success this last week and solved a bunch of problems. I also added a new feature to allow signs to retain their data when they are broken and placed back down.
As far as the issue with mobs and chairs, I've been putting some thought into that and I think I might add a GUI to the seat and give you the option to enable/disable mob sitting. Maybe even have it disabled by default. I am planning to do a feature update sometime this summer and maybe I'll work it into that update.
Can I make a suggestion? A special container to store scrolls, pieces of parchment, and the like. There are some mods which add items like this, Astral Sorcery for example. The journal pieces from the Betweenlands could count, too. Or just the vanilla pieces of paper, similar to how vanilla books can be stored in the bookshelf. Could be a 3x3 or 4x4 shelf, where a scroll is displayed in the compartment if the corresponding slot is occupied.

I like this suggestion. It'd make a great companion to a lectern.

Holy crap, I have wanted this sign tweak since I first ever used a sign. Thank you so much!
I just updated BiblioCraft with a few more crash fixes as well as fixes for enchantments on books not correctly showing up with the reading glasses and the reading enchantment not working when put on a helmet.
I am trying to make a custom painting resource pack, but when I try to load it it says that the pack is outdated and meant for another version of Minecraft. What should I do?
Any chance a lectern could be added that allows for display and reading of books, much like the desk? It would allow for churches to display a bible and even be able to read it, and make a fantastic addition to churches/chapels. Also, considering the chairs use the vanilla mounting system (what allows you to ride horses, donkeys, mules, llamas, etc.), I wondered why they always place the player in front of them if they get off the chair. You'd think it'd place the player next to the chair, on the left or right side.
so I'm getting a lighting problem I ran into it before but I forgot how I fixed it last time. Every time I'm under a block the my playermodel just go dark. Im pretty sure its either OptiFine or Armourer's Workshop that is bumping heads with Bibliocraft but idk I did some thing in the past to fix it but I have a new pc so new and old problems here and there you know? If anyone know how to fix this it would be awesome
Can you add an option just like in quark (maby in "mod settings") where you can disable certain features if you dont want them? Because i only really want about 1/5 of the mod (the big book, checklist, bookself, redstone book, toolrack) but i really dont care about 4/5 of the mod but the rest of the mod is lagging the server and is conflicting with my other mods (conflicting recipies, double features etc.) can you do something simular to quark?
Reply as soon as you can (if you dont get what i mean, reply and i will send a screenshot),

Nuchaz hasn't worked on this mod for over a year.
I don't think it would be easy to really remove features, but you can use something like CraftTweaker to remove recipes if you want.

So I was thinking there were a couple of bugs in the mod relating to display cases and the Fancy Signs.
I was having items placed in the cases disappearing on me, and could not figure out why. I have ProjectE in the pack I am playing, and it appears that Dark and Red Matter Furnaces were the issue. Their tops act like hoppers, and any inventory placed on top of them will automatically dump their contents into the furnace below.
The other was with the Fancy Signs - they were being placed blank. I shift-right clicked on one after being placed, and found the GUI.
I have gotten the issue where placed blocks such as Potion Shelves and so on would be turned 90 deg. Relogging corrected it.
I remember because I was gladly surprized when that happened upon me.

Where do I report issues for Bibliocraft? The forum seems to be overrun by spambots, and I don't see any github.
Two issues regarding the Desk.
First screenshot is a self-written book placed there.
Second screenshot is a book made by a typewriter placed there. The text display works better, but the buttons look wrong.

Thanks for making this awesome mod.
