Sneak-right click is the correct buttons. It is important to note that attachable desks only work with the new framed desks. They do not work with original / standard desks.
Thats why my friend and i were confused because we couldn't figure it out what was wrong and why we couldn't make one desk by merging two or three desk. but your website didn't mentioned that specific or the video... You gotta fix that problem so people will know that it was the framed desk, not the original desk that will work with "merging two or three desk" into one desk. Thats why i didn't know because i thought framed desk and original were the same. thats what i assumed. but turned out i was wrong.
EDIT: my friend said that you need to mention that the fact is that a person should use framed desk to merge two desk into one desk.. so i agreed with him. just want to mention that since we were discussing about your mod and the information that is on your website and how much it can tell us about the mods. Thats all. i hope that you would able to fix the issue in future. and i loved the idea of three desk merged into one desk and it look lIke a TRULY office desk!

It's something wrong with OBS, I can't record new video. I'll try to explain how to execute this bugs.
1. When I take slotted book and open its GUI, and at the same time I move this slotted book to another slot, and after I close slotted book and move this book again - book doubles, and new copy staying in old slot. And I have two books now. And item(s) in this book doubles, too.
2. If I get atlas and open its GUI, when I push key "1" at keyboard, then atlas doubles to upper slot in my inventory. And item which was in this slot, replaced now by new copy of atlas.
It is worth mentioning that even though forge is out of beta, it is still missing features. Specifically rendering features. I'm personally waiting on OBJ model support (one of the changelogs said it was coming) and dynamic item model rendering. Currently it seems the only way to render items is if they are the new json models (which I will not be using due to their ridiculous limitations) and you can only swap one model for another. Which means no golden compass needle rotating (no round golden compass) and no atlas. As far as 3d model support, they did add support for .b3d models, which seem good on the surface, but they have some technical limitations dealing with textures I couldn't find my way around. They did say in the changelog on forge when they added .b3d support that .obj support was on the way. .obj is best for me because 90% of the models currently in BiblioCraft are already .obj format.
I think that is one of the big reasons a lot of mods aren't updating. Some of us literally just don't have the tech to do so and it some cases we have to rewrite very large portions of our mods to work around the new way minecraft does rendering. At least this is my point of view on the topic. I do want to update, I just have to kind of play the waiting game until all the tech I need is ironed out.

Were you using the old versions of desks? Merging desks only works with the new framed desks. I didn't want to replace the old ones with the new models because the textures look different and I figured more variety is always good.

Oh yeah. I didn't know that forge has obj format that most mods are using included your.. That mean i was half-right, and half-wrong.. good to hear. I can explain to my friend about that explanation. I will be looking forward to 1.8 mod... but i have to say I dont think there will be forge for 1.8.4 or 1.8.3 after all. dont ask me because it was just a guess. the way i see how lexmanos is behaving. he is really quite busy and i dont know if he is going to work on 1.8.4 forge. thats for sure.. maybe forge will be out for 1.8.6 (the final version) just like 1.7.10 was the final version. It may be the same idea for whats going on in future. I am just guessing. I hope i am wrong.. and i hoped that 1.8.4 is the final version and bug-free. sigh.

But like i mentioned that you gotta fix that in your bibliocraft website to state that only framed desk can be used as two desk or three turning into one desk. my friend was watching that video that will teach us how to merge the desk.. but one thing for sure, he didn't heard the word "framed desk". and i also thought that the guy in video used oak desk, but didn't noticed it wasn't oak desk.. but it was framed desk. (i am deaf, so i am bad at listening to the voice of the guy in video for now and i am learning how to listening with my hearing aid)
Having an issue with the printing press and typesetting table, they just.... don't work.
I attempted to copy my atlas, I placed the atlast on the left side, and chase's on the top, and shift-right clicked the atlas. It immediately made a shiny atlas chase.
I then put books on the left hand side of the printing press, ink in the top, and the chase in the middle and.... it doesn't do anything. Am I missing something?
I have noticed that if I put books from the lost books mod into the typesetting table, and it won't copy them or add them into the book directory thing.
EDIT: Okay, I figured out how to get the atlas working, you have to put an empty atlas on the printing press with the chase.
Still can't seem to copy books from the lost books mod though for whatever reason.
I've got a bug to report for 1.10.3 (it's either BiblioCraft or Tinkers' Construct being derpy, but I'm not sure which). Tinkers' Construct tools rotate the wrong way when placed inside of a tool rack (tested with BiblioWoods and BiblioCraft tool racks): imgur

but Lexmanos and others were working on forge 1.8 sometimes. but they were completely focused on 1.8.4 forge... yes there will be Forge 1.8.4 according to Lexmanos's word from Twitter. he said that FML is merged into the master forge, and everything is good except forgegrade where Abrar is still working on it to finish it so the forge 1.8.4 is completed thats if i understand his words correctly. It may take few days to weeks depends on how much works is done that Abrar is doing.
He also said for these modders who already updated their mod to 1.8 will have very easy time to update it to 1.8.4 as well. So you may want take a look at Twitter and see what lexmanos have been saying.. if you want to know more.
now i am quite looking forward to see the 3D models on your mod!

Okay I love, love this mod! But with the recent framed options, which I was so excited for, and then went and tried to use them. Well When you use any kind of wood on them the textures don't connect to make a flushed look, making the outside the ones with a border,instead it looks like two tables mashed together.
Finally we went with sand b/c that didn't have any edges.

This just started happening the day before yesterday, after I had to reload my world from a backup a couple of hours old. No mods or settings were changed between when the backup copy was made and when it was restored. Breaking the affected shelves, re-placing them, and putting the items back on them fixes the problem temporarily, but after the next server restart, it will be back. ONLY this set of shelves is affected.
Any ideas or troubleshooting tips...?
Oh! Just figured out something else: Almost without exception, it happens only if one or more items being placed on a particular shelf is enchanted. I say "almost" because it appears IndustrialCraft 2 wrenches and forging hammers, and the router camouflage device from Routers Reborn, will also sometimes trigger the effect. If one item on a shelf is enchanted and other items on the shelf are appearing as tiles, removing the enchanted item will generally cause the tile effect on the other items to disappear.
Do you know Antique Atlas mod? If you do, have you ever thought to work with it's creator to make different maps?
Because Minecraft maps are okay, but... well... they look a bit... bad. I'd like to put these kind of maps on walls. Your solutions for mapping are different in many ways I think, but make them work together would be awesome.
The tape measure is a handy tool, and I was using it to mark off an area for a Witchery circle. Something that could make it an even better tool would be to have an on-screen current distance to the marker, so that you can easily walk out to a planned distance.
Sound good? Worth doing? Yes? Please?

Hi, I really want to try this mod (like desperately)
and I know that 1.8 is a big hurdle to jump across since it was a huge change to Minecraft information storage (or something like that)
but I was wondering when you might think a 1.8 version of Bibliocraft might come out?
The modpack I am working with is 1.8 exclusive, but I'd really love to include this mod
(I've been keeping tags on this mod since CaptainSparklez did a review on it in March of 2013)

That way it isn't necessary to put a torch next to a desk that's got a candle on it.

All maps crafted after installing Bibliocraft suddenly started showing a ghost marker at (0;0).
It persists after client restart, and there is nothing in that place that would generate it.
Has anyone encountered this before?
